Guard your heart and tongue. Don’t let these things into your system as it can pollute your precious spirit and soul. God wants to protect us (our heart, soul, mind) from these things, which is why He gave us the scriptures as guidance. Proverbs 20:19 - “He who goes about as a slanderer reveals secrets, therefore do not associate with a gossip.” “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.”

Gossipers want you to submit to their 666 intellect, which is a surrender to the devil. In a spiritual sense, you are drinking toilet water and polluting your soul with filth. You are also being tested. Put your trust in God instead of trusting someone else's thoughts.

So difficult to do this in the corporate world when a leader gossips about people then is so sweet to them in person. Makes you wonder what they are saying behind your back when you’re not around. Subscribed.🙏🏻🙏🏻

I have found that people enjoy talking about their children. Especially if I am with an intimidating person, and I don't know what to talk about, asking about their children gets them to be relaxed and themselves: how many kids do you have? How old are they? Are they going to school (what is their major) or working on their career. If I am talking to kids, asking what their favorite subject in school can be a dead end. If that's the case ask them what their least favorite subject it. They LOVE complaining about school.

Nah. Where were you born is question often about distant pass and not everyone want to be associated with place of birth because.. they are not that place! People often start changing conversation about place of your birth while you want to talk about books shows weather etc. nope! Childhood memory😂 hah dude it’s too intense, emotional and definitely not an ice breaker for a stranger! Besides too many people don’t have ANY truly happy moments.. and have but they finished and people feel sad because it’s connected to loss and stuff. It’s very intimate question imo. The worst job! Seriously? Ok here the questions should be asked instead of: 1. What are you currently reading? 2. What’s your favourite tv show you would go back any time? 3. What’s your most memorable travel experience and why? Don’t his people’s past it’s often shitty. Ask about what in their hands now!

This is my most bad behaviour. I really really need to cut it. Even though, i judged "bad" ppl but afterwards always feel wrong, and horibble person ever. It feels like i should see deeper than it "seems", but i did it again on the next day anyway. I really want to change. I hope God still forgive me :d

I could do better when it comes to stopping gossip. Lately I have been playing devils advocate to defend the other person or turn it around to myself as a way of getting the topic off the one being gossiped. So gotta pat myself on the back for that

It is so sad to hear this interview and see it is still posted with the recent statement coming from APEX church, 3D Movements, and Julie Roys regarding the independent investigation at Apex that found Mike Breen had carried on an affair with a vulnerable member of the congregation and had a history of bullying, intimidating, and refusing to reconcile with fellow believers. Should this interview be taken down out of respect for the victims of his behavior? 😢

Being a giver, not a taker has so many proven benefits-physical, mental, and emotional-that everyone should make it part of their daily life. The Bible says "There is more happiness in giving than in receiving". Acts 20:35

Two of my friends were gossiping about each other. Their grievances with eachother were minor but both of them came to me and others in our group to try and talk down on the other. I defended the unpresent person both times and and said they should keep their opinions to themselves. They were initially mad at me until later when they learned I was defending them when the group went against them. Eliminating gossip from your life can cause conflict but will help your relationships in the long run.

One thing that I have learned that gossipers hate more than anything is when you speak the truth about their behavior when it is going on directly to them in front of other people and they start to see your side of things. Most people don't like to hear the truth about the wrong that they are doing. I do it to the point where they get aggravated. This guy that I know used to gossip about me and every time he started I would just start saying exactly what I thought of him and his behavior he was finally like this is b.s. and started throwing things around and yelling. He was expecting somebody who would just keep quiet and take it and not somebody who would speak up and make him feel like a child that he is in front of others. After his little temper tantrum I just looked at him with a real smart ass grin on my face and said well now you know how it feels don't you. I then turned and went on my way whistling now whenever I'm around he mostly just stays quiet. You have cut a gossip monger right straight to the bone and beat them at their own game do it in a way where they won't forget if you try to hurt me you will be the one who gets hurt the most.
