  I am a die hard Rammstein fan and thought no one could capture Till’s vocal likeness other than the singer of Heldmaschine. My opinion has changed and I don’t think anyone can get closer than this singer. Great cover band.

  Sozos is pretty good as Angus II. Not so much as Angus I and Angus XIII tho. I would like to see Bowes and Winkler bury the hatchet tho. Imagine having Sozos Michael making a guest appearance in an Angus McSix song and Thomas Winkler in a Gloryhammer song

  I love Thomas and I wish I could see him sing this song live someday, but honestly I don't want Thomas back in Gloryhammer. He seems to be having much more fun doing his own thing, and I love his new shit too.

  He's good but this song really doesn't suit him. The voice is too clean and he sang the chorus too deep imo. If you listen to the studio track the chorus is way higher and the vocals are way more gritty. Sozos is pretty good but this song really doesn't do him any favors. But I think Thomas didn't sing the chorus high enough live either compared to the studio track

  Agree. Didn't listen to Thomas live but I love its studio track, and the shrill, dirty voice with which he sings "FORGED IN THE HEART OF CELESTIAL FIREEEE!" really makes the song. The best Sozos is probably better than the best Thomas, but man, when you try to bring Sozos in Thomas's territory you really *feel* that it doesn't work.

  I reacted to this as well! What the hell is he doing? I'm skeptical about this Michael Barber guy becoming keyboardist instead of Bowes; from what I can tell online, he's a guitarist. I wonder how much of this performance is playback, really.

  Even after listening to the full release dozens of times I have to appreciate how good Sozos’ annunciation is and Winkler’s too. We’ve gotten lucky with some of the clearest metal vocals.

  @Templarofsteel88 He sounds a lot like Aladdin sometimes. Much more of a "boy hero" than an "epic power hero." It's still just as good though. He could make a killing on Broadway, but I'm glad he's here.
