  I still have a laptop in my room. But it no longer works because the BIOS battery is empty. And my father, who worked at IBM, couldn't get it repaired and he probably realized that it wasn't worth it anymore. I was really wondering what kind of operating system was on it. but as I said, it no longer works.😔 And unfortunately I can't fit the built-in hard drive into an external hard drive case because it's thick.

  If you quickly turn it off and then immediately turn it back on at the power cycle animation, you can bypass the broken CMOS battery. At least it worked for me...
