The home of the International Cargo Bike Festival is Nijmegen in the Netherlands. However, the organisers have also taken this festival to Berlin in Germany and Groningen in the Netherlands. Here is a link to the ICBF's website cargobikefestival.com/

love all the different concept ideas. how inventive and innovative and creative. different ideas and engineering design. wish their was a design contest to see whose got the best design concept and efficiency. overall love them all.

I made many of these over 20 years ago for my son's Beaver, cub & Scout group. The table made from the single sheet of 8x4 ply was really only large enough to seat 4 beavers or small cubs. I used 2 sheets of 8x4 to create a table large enough for cubs and scouts (and adults). These were great for taking away on camp. The legs and cross braces were cut from the 18mm ply whereas the table tops and seats were cut from 12mm (cheaper and lightweight). I had to round off all the edges using a router due to the amount of breakout/splintering. I also created a small carrying handle which clipped into the legs. The two seat and single table cross brace and seats were also held in the handle, keeping everything together. I also adapted the plans to create washing up stations, food prep stations. I added holes into the table tops to help with carrying as well as accepting our plastic picnic tumblers - less spillage! (Some DiY barns will cut wood for free - I bought 3 x12mm sheets at a time, two sheets I asked to be cut in half (4 table tops), the other had a few cuts across to create the seats)
