What exactly is the connector called where you connect the video wires?
We call it a BNC VIDEO connection. Any reputable security shop/installer, should know what you're talking about if you're looking to buy it.
Also, this is what Google says; A BNC (Bayonet Neil-Concelman, or sometimes British Naval Connector) connector is used to connect a computer to a coaxial cable
