For those who wrre unaware. "Yid" was a deragtory anti semetisc insult agianst jews who were potrayed as weak and unwilling or unable to fight. This song embraces "the yids" as willing and able to fight

Incorrect, Yid is Jew in Yiddish. Because this is a Yiddish song, when they say "Yid" they are usually just referring to Jews in a non-derogatory way. It started to become derogatory after the rise of Hebrew I believe.
