In other words, the Mazda CX-3 is for a single guy or a young married couple, and the Honda HR-V is for a young family. Great review, it really helped me to narrow down my choice.
been very satisfied with mazda 2019 cx3 so far..been 3 months since i got it and i couldnt get enough of it..so fun and great to drive esp in sports mode with awesome interior!
Not with that CVT garbage it has in it that Honda is not going to last that long

cx3 win widely, led headlight with projector, led fog light led lights tracers inner more beautiful better finished sport more technology sport shift HRV looks current and cheap. cx3 wins by great advantage.
Cx3 is small
Tried both yesterday, HR-V feels horrible to drive, extremely assisted steering makes you feel insecure, feels extremely sluggish, looks horrible inside and out. CX-3 drives beautiful, steering gives you a lot of feedback, feels sporty, feels like braking is better and acceleration too. The only thing it has going for it is it has more space than the Mazda, if that’s what you’re looking for then go for it, Mazda looks miles better and drives better, it honestly feels a class above the Honda

no doubt... CX-3 it is... i don’t mind to sacrifice small space to get this car.... i have the cx-9 AWD GT black/black anyway 🤫 so use the big one if going somewhere really far with more cargo.. then this one is for work and errands for my wife 😍

The HR-V needs more power. Specifically, more torque. I test drove one last week and while my wife was satisfied with the acceleration, I was not.
We are so ready to buy the 2018 HR-V but when we did the road test, my enthusiasm went downhill. The humming noise that sounds like a house aircon was a big letdown. Plus, you can hear all the noises from the outside! We left without buying the car 🚗.. my big advice, yes make sure you do the road test always!
Honda is ugly but resales good Mazda is sexy but has no resale value 🙄🙄🙄

IMO the Elantra is the best with Mazda second. Both are great - Mazda a bit faster, good looking - Elantra is fast enough, most comfortable, great looking, spacious, reliable with an ass kicking warranty. Overall I pick the Elantra. I don't like the Ford Focus at all. Also if Fords were reliable then the warranty would be much better.
This was a waste of time. No quantitative measurements, just "feelings". You wont know which is bigger, quieter, better sound system, better a/c or anything else.
I think I will choose CX-3 over HR-V since I only have one baby at the back.
sound system part on the pilot was a lie. my family owns one and it is absolutely terrible😂
Too bad Subaru is overall losing their reliability... Especially with these new models.. oil consumption issues which lead to other problems... not to mention the head gasket issues. Hard to say they're still reliable when their engines are starting to crap out before they even hit 100,000km.. I just had to have a brand new engine put in my forester for oil consumption issues. (It's only a 2013 and I meticulously maintain my service...) But then again, I've never owned a Mazda, so i can't speak for how well they hold up.

Hala Heleu 2.0 versions are made in mexico but the top of the line gt 2.5L is made in japan. It’s the one I have.
