For him, taking the time to cook probably isn’t worth it. If it takes him half an hour to cook a meal, he could probably earn 10x what that meal costs if he spent that half an hour working instead of eating
Danny I have 6 year experience as a chef in the UK, I'd be down to be his private chef
If you’re on less than 30K and have 6 years experience working as a chef, you might want to think about a career change
27k is not bad if you get the chef to cook for the whole group and split the cost
27k a year is average wage, even a bit more, no one’s spending that on delivery
And no private chef will work for such a low amount of money.

£27,000 a year on a private chef is 2,250 a month, which is £562 a week… who would spend £562 a week on a food shop. In what world is that saving money😭😭 £27,000 a year is also so much money to some people it’s more than im paid a month. To say “only £27,000 a year” … touch grass please x

This wasn’t my point. Spending it isn’t the issue spend anyway but it’s insensitive especially when the country is in a crisis with money and wages etc to down play £27,000 and make it seem like it isn’t a lot of money. That was what my point was.
