I sometimes stay behind and have my husband go on his own with our daughter and I stay behind with my son since alot of pple, new places, sounds overwhelms him and I am constantly just on flight mode worrying his going to get hurt or run away. Its as overwhelming for me to just go out to some places 😢.

WOW, it took years but you did it... That's insane dedication, y'all are amazing!! I see so many autistic adults who still are in diapers and its so depressing to realize they fully could be trained as a child, but their parents couldn't stick with it. They probably tried a few months and thought "it's hopeless, our kid can't be potty trained" but it's not true. Y'all invested a couple years but it totally paid off bc now you won't need to buy and change diapers for decades. Just discovered your channel and been watching a few videos. Y'all are approaching all this so logically and intelligently which is not true for most parents.

Nothing works for my ASD 4 yr old
Nothing seemed to work for my son either… until it did. I did the same things that failed over and over until he simply understood. It comes with age as well. Don’t give up! 💙

My Son has it got diagnosed yet with autism. He just turned three last month & he does have speech delays he does alot hand movements he does alot flapping and fingers movement he does spider fingers when he exited when he watching something on the tablet & he does the bird wings here with the hands and a lot with his fingers when He excited so I think most likely he is I had a feeling but thank you for this☺️💯💯
