What about that little cap/lid that has 2 bolts? Mine is leaking from there and cant find anything online on torque specs or gaskets
Why didn't you set TDC and push the pin through the bell housing and fly wheel to make show it was spot on at TDC and then rotate the cams manually to fit the camshaft lock tools?
Sorry I did miss that step in the video
stock motor?
Yessir stock motor
That’s an oil pump not vacuum pump
for the mac setup, did u tap into a previous exiting pressure source onto the turbo or did u have to drill ur own? Thanks 🙏🏼
Had to drill my own vacuum source on turbo
Great job. How many miles does this bmw have
It was at around 115k miles
how much does a job like that cost?
3600 parts and labor for xdrive 3200 parts and labor for rwd
How much to do mine
HMU on instagram @135i_eric
You've only just begun and you're doing great!! Keep it up!! Subbed!
Thank you 🙏🏽
Where did you order the chain from?
A lot of people use fcp but I have accounts with parts suppliers
Please make the video on removing twin turbochargers without dropping the subframe. I am guessing its going to be even easier for me with the N54 Z4.
Got you bro! I should have one coming in very soon
So was the car toast or did it work?
Works flawlessly
What’s the cost for an install like this?
$2250 pi and other fuel add ons is extra
@135ieric5 wow that's taxxed. For the worst kit on the market 😂
@@bimmerfab it’s not bad it makes the power Just sounds off

Can deff feel the difference on how it handles!
700 is solid for that boost level
Think so? I was a bit disappointed tbh haha
n55Eric or n54Eric
N54eric 💪🏽
n55 or n54?
N54 sir
Daamm, 700 🔥🔥
💪🏽💪🏽
Mmmmm 🔥🔥
Shoulda click baited them with the how to do without taking the manifold off
Onto something here 🫡
🔥🔥
can you make a video on how to remove the stock turbos without removing the subframe?
Sure can! Let me get another one in I’ll make one!
Fax
Me too! I got small hands so I think I could do it
Remove front turbo first as a whole after taking inlets off the for the rear turbo you have to separate turbo from manifold to get it to come up I did it to my 17ts with relocated arm intakes so the coolant reservoir and everything on that side was relocated already
@@Cleanish_n54no need to take them apart. All you have to do is lift the engine up a bit to give you more room and you’re good You can either pull the turbo from the top or the bottom
radials or slicks?
Radials
👀👀👅
Which model is it? Hella cool😎
That is a BMW 1 series E82. The regular model is the hatchback version E87. If you are interested take one with a six cilinder engine and manual transmission. 🙃
E82 135i
And you stop in the middle of a road? (glad my shaft didn't brake on my 3 series... It handles a bit more than stock power lol)
Does he really have much of a choice on where he stops?? I mean he literally has no power to the wheels… you gotta just coast it and hope for the best i guess.
I got stuck there lol. I barely made it up a small hill off the light 🤣
@@135ieric5 oh you went uphill? Damn I had a failure once,, could easily make it to the shoulder tough, glad you are ok!
@@DeanieBN54 you don't stop at an instant bro 😘
I was actually my diff it blew 😅
Lmao i feel u, my alternator took a shit yesterday had to get a tow boat.
smiles per gallon, you have a good team & knowledge behind you when something does go wrong with the n54 to repair it.
Good overview video, the brake collor always reminds me of Bams Gallardo purple
You like many other 135i owners still have the stock oil thermostat. There is an upgrade for the OFH by mosselmann. It makes the car run 20C cooler temps than stock even at highway speeds, no extra 135is oil cooler radiators are needed.
That’s next on the list! Inexpensive upgrade! I’ve been doing them a lot on some of my customers cars, think it’s time I pull the plug and get one
Wasn't lying
Dope 135i!!! I really like the intake headlight where did you get it, or how did you make it?
Thank you! 🙏🏽 I cut open a spare headlight!
Looks good, whats your wheel fitment?
So they are 18x9.5 +22 The rears clear perfectly Front needed a 5mm spacer. I’ll have an update soon on what all I’ve done the rear got a lot of work done to it.
Turbo 😮😮😮😮
That is300 though!!!!!
Right!
Nice
Didn't show the most difficult bolt on top underintake manifold 😭
Very simple one Just unbolt the intake manifold. You don’t have to take it off Lift maybe 3-5 inches Grab a swivel torx, I believe it’s a e10 and loosen the bolt. Make sure you have the top radiator hose off Also the other two bolts off that way you can pull off the oil filter housing with the rear bolt on it
Yoo, your catch can half open?
Nah I it’s Vader solutions old kits I haven’t found a good point to mount it yet 😅
Not a fan of the cut out headlight or cutting vents into the hood but I guess this is what purpose built looks like. To reduce temps I installed a mosselmann oil thermostat & set fan speed to sport. Also did m3 rain cowel conversion so the 135i(n55) always stays about 30 degrees cooler than stock even when im above 250-280kmh on the autobahn. (No giant turbo allowed here) I built it to be reliable as well. E82 fan from Germany. You have perfect teeth btw 😉
Yeah needed something to cool the hot temps from the single turbo and more cold air from the headlight delete more boost 😈 Thank you!
Also the m3 Cowl was probably the best thing I did to this car. You don’t have to remove it for nearly 90% of things under the bay. Mosselmann oil cooler would be a nice upgrade for this not going to lie
Can we get a closeup of how you relocated the power steering container
Ofcourse bro, now this relocation way will only work with a stock intake manifold since it’s got the nipples for the stock air box. You will have to loosen the bracket for the power steering container so the lines aren’t pinched in any way. And mount it to the intake manifold Follow the shop page on instagram we’ve done a few of these @split_2nd_performance
BRUHHH ive been wanting to do the same with a headlight, but cant find one what did you use my 6266 isnt getting any Oxygen, Help a brotha out
Stock headlight that I chopped up brotha!

Your videos is too extra
Too extra in what way? What can I do better? I’m open to feedback, this is a first to me.
It’s like three different ways of doing it but if you think your way is quick OK
@@ryansanders2850 I asked for feedback, since you said I’m extra lol i know the way I filmed isn’t the only way to do it.
One of my fav songs btw
First
💯💯💯💯💯
How u get that bolt under the manifold was it wit they swivel e10?
You will need to loosen up the intake manifold so you can lift it up and get that last bolt. You do not need to remove the intake mani completely either. Oh and you can get it with or without the swivel with the intake loose
