  Izzard *is* funny. But I spent a few weeks one year ploughing through his every show (about 7/8 at this point) as I’d never really paid him any attention, and people in my ken were raving about him. My conclusion is that he has some killer material for a couple of shows, at most, and then he just starts repeating himself. There is no real progression or variation. Part of the reason, I suspect, for his learning multiple languages (aside from just bragging about this and boring on to the rest of us about it - for a large part of people learning foreign languages *is* the brag-factor and the intellectual one-upmanship), was that he knew he can’t get away with battering through more or less the same sh*t in English every 3 years.

  American movies take 3 hours to explain the start with side issues and backstories and half the budget on body bronzer to get to the end and it's still explaining the beginning, hence a prequel and numerous annoying sequels.

  My mother is from Belgium but not Brussels. When I first saw this in 2008, I sent it to her immediately. I was like look at this ma, they mentioned Belgium. I showed it to my boyfriend and I was like now do you see why my body type is the way it is LOL? Not that he ever gave me grief about it, it just helped explain why I'm tall and skinny.

  No, magpies are still rather smaller birds. The stars of this ad are pied crows, an attractive looking species from Africa.

  Trying to find a commercial. Im not sure if its car or phone company. :l that appeared this year or last... But I remember being interested in this commercial alot back in the days. But not sure why.
