    Disappointing that a manual gearbox is only offered in the base line of trim. Not that there is anything wrong with the Peugeot 308's base trim... other than the fact that Peugeot Australia don't bring the Active Line in to Australia, so it's auto, auto or auto for we Aussies. That's a real shame, as I'd really like a manual, diesel 308 WAGON, but not available to me... 😥 (I'd also prefer fabric seats to nappa leather)...

    No. Test drove one. Infotainment was enough to put me off, it was about as cutting-edge as a Nokia N95. Slow, low res, ugly graphics. Boot is way less practical when you see it in the flesh. Also ... The centre console and door rest are at completely different heights, so you can't rest your elbows on long journeys unless you enjoy stress positions. Interior quality and ride comfort are both lovely for the segment though I'll say that.

  • @ISITWORTHITUK
    @ISITWORTHITUK19 күн бұрын

  • @user-vf7gr4jh5v

    I drove the Evolve eForce (dual motor). It was fine, but not amazing. VERY comfortable, throttle response was very progressive and linear, ride quality was in the top 2 of cars tested (below the Ioniq 5) but one pedal drive sucked. I also tested the Mach E, Ioniq 5, Skoda Enyaq, Kia EV6, Tesla Model Y, Polestar 2.

  • @DigitalHardrock
    @DigitalHardrockАй бұрын

    I test drove exactly the same car as in this review. It drives great. I think the main great rhing about the new epower Quashqai is how SMOOOOOTH it is when it comes to acceleration and braking. Both acceleration and breaking is linear, I mean absolutely linear through entire pedals range. It feels so good. Soundproofing is also not bad. Not class leading but not bad either. And the suspension is, as you rhis review says, spot on - not too loose, not too firm. Driving over speedbumps is probably one of the best I've seen. Interior: excellent bright and vibrant large infortainment screen and responsive interface. The car feels like a car from 2024. Cockpit is smart. There's enough space around you. I loved the tilted panel with window buttons, the speedometer screen and the steering wheel. I miss memory for two drivers (I think its available in Tekna+?), heating for back seats and electric adjustable passenger seat. I also didnt like a central mirror which obstructs view when I first sat inside, but durung test drive I didnt have any problems with that. I also found back seats positioned a bit too low. I wish they were a bit higher. And a boot could've been a bit bigger. But all for all, i think it's ePower that makes this car so fun to drive. If you're thinking if you should go for 1.3 petrol or ePower, I would definitely go for ePower.

    Quite like the updated look to the Model 3. Think I’d be fine with a gear stalk but no indicators in the US might not be an issue but not the UK and Europe with the amount of roundabouts here. It’s 150kW for the older V2 Superchargers and 250kW for the V3 and new V4 chargers. Only the base model rear wheel drive maxes out at 170kW. Maps are Google but voice commands are Tesla not Google. Gear change by buttons at the top should only be for emergencies if the screen goes out. Ditto for the emergency pull handle on the front driver and passenger doors if the electricity cuts out to operate the door release button. B pillar is where you need to place the key card if your phone isn’t setup but has nothing to do with the camera opening the doors. It’s just one of the 8 cameras placed around the car.

  • @ISITWORTHITUK

    I still stand by having a stalk and don’t understand why there is any need to have buttons placed at the top for incase of emergency, we don’t have a spare stalk for emergency. It’s just design for design sake it doesn’t add anything better.
