Indeed very much underrated bike. About the fuel gauge, you will feel the loss of power when you have to switch reserve on. I also keep an eye on the odometer. Usually reserve kicks in at about 200km, but when twisting the right hand liberally, it can come down to 120km... anyway, speaking of fuel anxiety, I also have a Tenere, where the fuel light blinks like crazy at 230km, and at fill up has still more than a gallon (120km) left.
You forgot your camera
My brother in law has one.. amazing little bike ! Truly feels like nothing when you're sitting on it. I like how I could just bring it up in the elevator at night and park it on my balcony... so small, you could put it anywhere. it's only around 220 lbs... you can lift it up and carry it somewhere if you really need to.. parts are so cheap, it's not an issue. Engine is an old reliable type.. maintain it and you'll never give it a second thought. Price is so low.. You've got nothing to lose because you can always sell it for practically what you paid for it.
Thanks for watching and subscribe! Yeah mine just sits in my garage i havent touched it all summer! I might make another video with it soon
The background music slaps too 🔥
They now have 5 gears instead of 4. Wonder how that changes things?
I liked your story about the cocky kid. Way to show him!
Hey, thanks for the review. I have the same bike on order and I'm hoping it comes this week. I appreciate your honest review and no nonsense take on your experience. Most of the reviews I've watched come from people who were given the bike by Lectric and they don't seem authentic.
😂 CARBS GOIN DIRTY!😅 - YOU RIDIN DIRTY- 😮 6 CYLS OF GRIFF- 😢 FOO- GETTA- BOUT- IT!!@#$%^&*()😊
Don’t bye don’t work
My fuel pump is on my left side

How do you check the mpg?
How long did yours take to come?
Did you try using the blue locktight on the screws for the vibrations?
For anyone here that has one of these, I just bought a used one myself recently. I had a local shop get it all running again, but man the torque on these is crazy. I about snap my spine every time I put in in gear. Is there any way to tone this down it you don't want it to be that crazy?
Bro my suzuki c50 was carb and ready to ride in 30 seconds to a min if that was already ready to go and sounded meaner than the efi but efi is the way
great job but please protect your eyes next time.
----- You have some seriously crappy roads in your town.
You mean the pot holes?
@@Drive315 That's exactly what I mean. 28 MPH + big pothole = really bad road rash.
4 years later. You still have the bike? I just got one for free. It will do the trick. Nice video
Thanks for watching and subscribe! I actually do still have it, i never really ride it anymore because i have a newer regular bike and a ebike
Wash the bike bro
Good for someone 6’2 & wants to pedal too (for exercise)? Thx!
I just bought a 750 due to my neighbor moving for 1k I’ve never ridden one and it’s sitting in my garage after watching your video I feel like giving it a whirl
3.200 craig
Looks like you got close to 4000 rpm! Congrats!
How do you secure your bike while your in the gym? Especially a grom is really easy to steal
Where is your part 2?
☹️ yall out here making fun about him. But he’s saving America one letter at a time he’s a member of the United States government. Be more respectful
Honda said in a very polite way Ones a bike for people who don’t know anything about bikes and ones a bike for men !
is the ticking normal?
That sounds way better than any Harley I've ever heard...sounds like a bike should sound.
I'd keep 'em both. Good solid bikes and when one is down for repairs the other will be ready to be ride. Hopefully.
Thanks for watching and subscribe. That’s a good analogy however, I sold both of them and have other bikes in the garage right now.
Yall have balls to take this on the highway lol my goodness
Loved mine
If Honda would only have NOT put dem turbine wheels on 'em.
why is everybody posting their weights
Does the 2011 Jeep Compass limited get free Sirius radio?
I had a nest as big as my head.
Good ol upstate
Got a 2005 VTX 1300R. I'm the same size as the submitter. My bike has 56,XXX mile and runs great! Harley owner said it would go 100,XXX miles, no problem, and his ride won't. I keep the service up to date and the bike garaged and covered. Great bike.
I’m buying one soon for transportation in n ie weather!
Should I go brand new or buy a used one? 2023?
What's the highest speed u can use it at without pedal assist ?
I never tried that. Probably like 13mph on a level road. Thanks for watching and subscribe!
Get yourself some gamma match at .49 gr or Tophaao .23 gr you will swear ur shooting a real gun because its so loud…..you’ll be getting speeds like 565 fps
If you keep pedaling, you can loose more weight to gain more speed!
What a heavy tank. Why ask a question that cannot be heard. What’s up is over used.
I sold my 2001 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 and bought a used 2008 Triumph because I was struggling to move the 750 lb. Kawasaki around into my garage and in parking lots . While the Triumph is a good bike with classic styling , I can assure you the Kawasaki build quality was far better .
Thanks for watching and subscribe! I tend to favor Japanese bikes because they’re much more reliable and probably easier to fix/maintain. I actually prefer Hondas the most
Yeah, you probably need to adjust your throttle because I don’t even think you reach half throttle, me and my brother has built these bikes for over 10 years and we choose to use a 36 tooth sprocket with a speed head, it almost brings it back to its factory feel But it will go close to 38 miles an hour to 40 miles an hour. It sounded like you were just cruising the engine at 40 miles an hour should be a lot louder
Just got an 07 1300R with 2,700 miles for $2,500.
I just got an 07 1300R and it runs and rides so very good. My last 3 bikes were Kawasaki 1500s. Kawasaki has my Honda beat on the kickstand.
Cobra pipes for vtx is just good it is just the right pipes for vtx
