Indeed very much underrated bike. About the fuel gauge, you will feel the loss of power when you have to switch reserve on. I also keep an eye on the odometer. Usually reserve kicks in at about 200km, but when twisting the right hand liberally, it can come down to 120km... anyway, speaking of fuel anxiety, I also have a Tenere, where the fuel light blinks like crazy at 230km, and at fill up has still more than a gallon (120km) left.

My brother in law has one.. amazing little bike ! Truly feels like nothing when you're sitting on it. I like how I could just bring it up in the elevator at night and park it on my balcony... so small, you could put it anywhere. it's only around 220 lbs... you can lift it up and carry it somewhere if you really need to.. parts are so cheap, it's not an issue. Engine is an old reliable type.. maintain it and you'll never give it a second thought. Price is so low.. You've got nothing to lose because you can always sell it for practically what you paid for it.

Hey, thanks for the review. I have the same bike on order and I'm hoping it comes this week. I appreciate your honest review and no nonsense take on your experience. Most of the reviews I've watched come from people who were given the bike by Lectric and they don't seem authentic.

For anyone here that has one of these, I just bought a used one myself recently. I had a local shop get it all running again, but man the torque on these is crazy. I about snap my spine every time I put in in gear. Is there any way to tone this down it you don't want it to be that crazy?

I sold my 2001 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 and bought a used 2008 Triumph because I was struggling to move the 750 lb. Kawasaki around into my garage and in parking lots . While the Triumph is a good bike with classic styling , I can assure you the Kawasaki build quality was far better .

Yeah, you probably need to adjust your throttle because I don’t even think you reach half throttle, me and my brother has built these bikes for over 10 years and we choose to use a 36 tooth sprocket with a speed head, it almost brings it back to its factory feel But it will go close to 38 miles an hour to 40 miles an hour. It sounded like you were just cruising the engine at 40 miles an hour should be a lot louder
