    Quartz, I don't have to continually seal it to keep it from staining and it will look good for a lifetime.

    I like the idea of adding cabinets above existing cabinets however I have vaulted ceilings which is proving to be a pain to deal with.

    I hear ya, vaulted ceilings can definitely limit you design choices 👍

    No finish edging pieces-no deal. Solid color fine but mixing colors (red and grey or black and white) looks awful because of the interlocking tab design!

    Yes , he does a great job, but anyone who believes this is easy needs to step back and watch what he does closely. There is nothing easy about this remodel , it’s a professional job.

    How do floor jacks roll on it? When you jack up a car with a floor jack will it dent the product? If left there for a week or more? How about jack stands, will they dent the floor, etc. Thanks!

    Great video, man. I was looking into installing pendant lighting over my kitchen island we just added (all the wiring is holding me back). Could these work if I connect into a recessed light instead of an outlet?

  • @randomdiyguy
    @randomdiyguy3 күн бұрын

    Glad you found it helpful, Thanks! Depending on how you set it up, possibly. Without knowing all the details, here's a couple ideas: First, yes you could wire it into a recessed light, but you would only be able to turn the pendents on when the recessed lights are on. Second option, (FYI not entirely sure if this would work in your case) you could buy two switch kits and make the current romex wire from the switch box to the recessed lighting series into a always hot line (Like an outlet would be) then you would have to wire one receiver in for the recessed lights series and another receiver in for the pendants. not sure if you would have enough room in those small junction boxes, but its something to think about. Hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions!

    Just wonder the extra cabinet on top u install. Where u buy them that doesn't come with the door, cause home depot only sale the one that come with the door only.

    Wait, where is the refacing here? I see a can of white paint and new doors. Is this what you think cabinet refacing is? Odd another paid promotion from an affiliate hustler. Consumer confusion continues. Shocking. Maybe try real full scale refacing sometime and let me know how easy and DIY it was.

    Nice! What I plan to do is have glass cabinets in the tops for table ware and solid cabinets below the counters where I'm putting large appliances that are rarely used. In the glass cabinets I would like with glass shelves and interior lighting for effect. Lots of good tips here. Thanks

    Wow, it's nice to see how much a difference this reno made considering you were already starting with white cabinets with kind of a shaker style that didn't look too bad. I also liked that you went to more storage.I hate seeing renos where people take out useful storage and put in a few open shelves that can only hold a few things or worse, just an empty wall.
