Incredible attention to detail and plenty of hard work. Well done guys! How much would this sort of package cost on an XK8 please?
The reflection really makes the color flip highlighting the body lines. Nice detailing there!
Outstanding work 👌
You can polish that car all you want. They rust to nothing from the inside out...
Can you tell me what sort of price ?
Yeah what is the ballpark price for such a job in the UK?
Strange interior colour choice.
Lots of talks, no work performed, talk less, work more 😫😫
Nice car👍
Great video thanks
Amazing look. Presumably car resprayed as door strips removed also?
What kind of silly slang is "Crack on" ...?????
What sort of silly idiot hasn't heard nor understands what "crack on" means ...???
What a gorgeous car !
For my XK8 article covering these cars go to drive.google.com/file/d/1u9PUp1K_9svxlSGfWI7DhKI4-uvbw3X2/view

Wow, amazing results
WOW!
Fantastic result! I want mine done too.
Big fan of Lexus. Solid cars 👊 can't wait for the LC F
Ceramic Coating.. The Poor Mans PPF
Not at all... Some people dont require PPF and people who do usually go for ceramic on top as dirt actually bonds to PPF alot more so the ceramic will prevent that...
Great video...
Superb - but one warning. If you don't use knee-pads on concrete you will end up in a wheelchair. I know two guys it's happened to.
Great work guys! That colour always does well when polished & due the shape of the bonnet the reflections are really photogenic
beautiful Jaag...great work Chris & Dane......great to see PHD back at it on KZread👍....pleasure meeting the team at Waxstock
Brilliant Chris and what a pleasure meeting you at waxstock that Jaguar bonnet looks like back breaking work 👌🏻👌🏻

Ehhh no its naw 😨 dearie me Mr Magooooo
Fantastic video, thanks so much for sharing your experience and passion. I’m sure this will become one of the go to channels for aspiring detailers.
Great video, just one innocent question as i am still learning. You mentioned the haze was from heavy compounding or sanding. In a case scenario of that sort. Did you use a paint thickness gauge to reassure to yourself that it is ok to buff and possibly do a two stage? I only ask because from experience. People take their cars to crappy car washes to be detailed and i have had vehicles presented to me with burn marks in the paint and haze and because of this. You have no idea exactly how much clear coat they took off putting us at risk. But if there is a way to be sure without a thickness gauge. I would like to know your opinion or advice.
Hi, Thanks for your question and yes we always use a paint thickness gauge to ensure we have sufficient material to work with. This avoids any risk of burning through the paintwork and allows us to achieve the highest level of finish possible.
Petrol Head Detailing Ltd thank you very much for your reply. I am thinking about now getting this paint thickness gauge as it is a very important tool but is your paint thickness gauge a tool that measures the clear coat or all three layers?
Hi so you didn't refine after using a microfibre cutting pad?....what compound did you use....great vlog and great work.
Nothing wrong with being busy mate amazing work Chris 👌🏻
Beautiful job my friend!
any more videos coming Chris? I've very much enjoyed them all so far.
Oli G working on some new ones at the moment. Sadly filming has been delayed due to a very good reason...my daughter was born in December so this has been my priority but we are back on it and hope to have another one up very soon.
That's not an for though. Regular xk8. Unless owner swapped hood and badges.
Per Kristoffersson It's a standard Xk150 with xkr body kit fitted bonnet and badges untouched.
great video what do you find the best way to remove dog hair off carpet vacumn takes ages
Hi Roy, Thanks for the comment. We use a pet hair removal brush with rubber bristles. This groups all the hair together so it can be easily removed with the hoover.. shop.petrolheaddetailing.co.uk/collections/phd/products/phd-pet-hair-removal-brush
Hey thanks for the reply
This car is great. Half the price of a DB11. You could have this and an Audi SQ7 for shopping for less than the Aston.
Another fantastic vlog chris great attention to detail as usual. just a tip about the foam blocks, if you get a craft knife and cut a slit the full length of the part of the block you hold at both sides, then you can push the suade cloth into these slits . I find the cloth and block easier to handle due to the suade cloth being under a bit of tension. the applicators that come with crystal serum I use them to apply c5 wheel armour they seem easier to use. Hope this helps . Please keep doing the vlogs .
Superb job Chris nice detail as the owner of said Jag in the video very pleased.
Keep them coming

Glad to have found another British detailing channel. Thanks to Miles drive and Tranquility Base Detailing for the recommendation via Instagram. It would seen the people from Rupes aren't even sure how to pronounce it, I've heard Rupes people call it 'Rupez' 'Rupes and now 'Roops' lol
Welcome to the KZread detailing community. 😀👍 I'll give your channel a share over on my Instagram. This tool is a massive help I found. Recommended to me by Alan of AM Details too. www.tubebuddy.com/TeamTBD
