Do you have an intake? What settings are on the Vortex? Asking because I’m getting a custom tune on my Vortex for a bone stock YFZ450R but later will put on a full Yoshi and fuel customs intake. Sounds awesome by the way!!!

I have a Fuel Customs i take on it. I cant remember the tune, its been a year. Ill have to look and get back to you. The vortex alone will make a huge difference for you. Worth every penny!

Arizona. I’ve had 250s, 350s, 450s and I like a 350 the best. It’s the perfect all around engine. Having said that, I love this bike! I was about to buy a KX450 and decided at the last minute to buy the 250x instead. I couldn’t be happier with my decision. I’m 55 and 190lbs btw.

Go 450 I bought a 23 Kx250. And I’m trading my 250 for the 23 kx450. 450 just has more power and torque when ever you want, literally won’t need another bike.

Just ordered exactly the same exhaust and having the connector pipe painted black. Easily the best looking exhaust for the bike and I’m doing this for aesthetics. Not for a much louder exhaust. Any issues so far with the exhaust? Thx

No issues whatsoever 👍🏼 I couldnt be happier with it. Its not a lot louder, but does have a deeper better sound. Youll be happy with it.

He man quick question .. I have a klx300R that I want to upgrade for better power and Something lighter … I was thinking about this bike but do you think it would be a big upgrade? I would hate to spend the money only to find the Kx wasn’t that big of an upgrade … I ride in Az as well.. thanks

in my opinion you will end up being disappointed with the power of the 250x. you will adjust to it fast. if youre looking for a power upgrade you should consider a 350. i had a Husky 350 for 4 years and loved it. perfect power. i chose a 250 this time around due to its light weight feel and i never get tired on it. if you are ok with just a little more power then the 250x is a great bike. light, very stable, very comfortable and very easy to ride.

I added the slip on, 30mm bar risers, bike master mirrors, amazon flush mount front signals, Yoshimura tail tidy with flush turn signals, spider grips, pazzo levers…

Its the same 5 speed and thats the only thing I dont love about the bike. It could use a 6th gear. I live in the desert so I ended up at 13/48 gearing. I lost a lot of low and mid with that gearing so I sent the ecu to Twisted Development and had it remapped. That gave me enough low and mid back to be able to pull the 13/48. This bike is an absolute blast to ride!

I dont know exactly, but roughly a couple hours. It is very easy on the gas consumption even here in the open desert 🏜 I was planning on getting an oversized tank immediately, but so far I haven’t needed it 👍🏼

Despite being an Akrapovic exhaust, mainly because the motorcycle has a huge catalyst and coupled with an installed db-eater, the sound isn't gorgeous, this engine needs a free flowing exhaust to scream. Thanks for the sample.
