this is a stupid comparison, because the ps3 emulator on Odin 2 mini is launched through a windows emulator. While the ps3 emulator on Steam Deck is launched on its hardware without other emulation. Odin 2 mini is quite a powerful console, you can use it through a windows emulator at high settings complete cyberpunk 2077, if Odin 2 mini had Linux, it would be the same as steam deck +-13fps.

This looks pretty neat, and I think the price is right when you are competing with the deluge of inexpensive handhelds from Abernic, Miyoo, etc. The biggest selling point for me is the cartridge slot. Had it been missing that it would have been kind of meh. I would hope they have reasonable settings out of the box. Cartridge systems are appealing as there is no mucking about with emulator settings.

The PS7000 has 256mb of RAM. The Q900 might be different but the consoles that have PS7000 labeled under the screen has 256mb RAM.

I have a decent collection of retro handhelds and the trimUI pro is my favorite out of all of them especially with the recent sofware update. Love the clicky buttons that are not crazy loud. the only thing i think its missing for me is rumble support Cant wait to see what other consoles they're gonna release next

the controllers are wireless and the console's usb is generally used to charge the controllers. knowing compatibility on these devices that rely on adapters is a serious problem
The M19 does have the RK3566 SOC in it, It lack ram though which is why it's slower in some games than it should be along with no swapfile as well. Sd cards are compatible between the m18/ R43 Pro and the m19, aspect ratio is really the only setting that needs to be changed in the retroarch.cfg file.

No, the PRO version's hardware is slightly better, but several reports have indicated problems with the operating system (JelOS) with its SOC. I've seen some things from a couple of months ago that seem to have been fixed, but it's still worth looking into.

I’m not sure about OLED screen of RG505. But overall OLED has always much better viewing angles than IPS. Color accuracy doesn’t depend on screen technology but usually OLED also better here. The only thing where OLED cannot beat LCD (IPS, etc) is maximum brightness. But that’s true for only the top LCD screens and not some average. In other words your comments on screen technologies are misleading

It's fine for PS1 and down. I've been watching live streams and people always want to see PSP, Saturn, N64, and Dreamcast on the RG35XX SP. So it will only play a million games at full speed rather than 1.1 million games. To get around this my cheap chinese handhelds are for PS1 and down, for everything else I own a Steam Deck. Maybe in 5 or 10 years I'll expect more from a sub $100 handheld but for now I only expect PS1 down. Honestly I don't recommend these handhelds for people that didn't grow up in the 90s or sooner. I just recommend a Steam Deck. Just get a Steam Deck. It will be a lot easier for you.

I understand what you're saying, but never a system on a chip Allwinner H700 focuses on GBA... but I'm not criticizing, I'm just pointing out the obvious: psp does run, but only a few games well, that's all. If you don't care about the PSP, don't worry... for me it's a great device, but if it hasn't changed yet, anbernic's announcement shouldn't focus on the PSP. However, the video doesn't focus on belittling the device, but rather that the gameplays focus on simple games, that's all. In real life, it's different for those who care.

The screen ratio is even wrong for GBA! What a failure
Actually it's perfect, if it was 3:2 it would limit all the other systems, also when you use the stock firmware, it puts the GBA logo below the screen and moves the screen towards the top, it almost looks like a replica from the front. Look up Retro Game Corps for better video's than this AI crap.

If you believe distortion is 'perfect' then more fool you. NES and SNES are also distorted, albeit less so
Lol I have a RG351P and everything that isn’t a GBA looks like crap. Going with a 4:3 is the correct move for an emulation device. If you still want a clamshell device with a 3:2 that plays mainly GBA that device was created over 20 years ago. Btw, you should look into shaders to balance the pixels.
