How do I pick from uper line in the table? Left is calculated, and upper?
Round z to 2 decimal places. For example, 1.25. Then you check 1.2 on the side and .05 at the top. If z = -0.84, then check -0.8 on the left, and .04 at the top.
Thank You sir
Excellent video! Finally I found somebody who can explain how to do a box whisker manually. This is important because that is why you need to do if you want to make a box whisker using class data as it is my case. Thank you!
Finally got it after a week of struggle...thanks alot 🙏🙏
Thank you. The technique you have used to present your presentation is very good🙏❤
Josh, thank you very much for the professional way of explaining it, Our professor took 37 min in a class, and I didn't get it. god bless.
I started by writing: S1= .... and S2 = .... from 0:25, then pivoting x1 with S1 gives X1= 8-2X2- s1/2 and S2 = -12 + 4X2 + 3S1/2 BUT this implies Z = 56-8X2-7S1/2, which means max(Z) = 56. Where is the mistake ? could someone explain ? I chose to pivot S1 since I called the slack variables X3 and X4 (instead of S1 and S2) and I've applied Bland's rule (I can only use this rule at the exam).
wtf ?? so many ads

When the lines do not meet, how will know the feasible region?
Prof Emmanuel to the rescue! I was trying to figure out what were these coefficient β that were pulled out of nowhere in my chapter about Design of Experiment
My pleasure. Thanks for dropping a note.
Suppose n=7 and I want to calculate p90 How is it gonna work? The formula give 7.2 I think to apply your formula, n>7 Please correct me if I am wrong.
Using this formula, for n = 7, you will have to pick the maximum value as the 90th percentile.
Hi. If I should get a negative value for the LCL value and I am using the C values. Example: -2.18. How would I draw the C chart? Would I equate the negative values to zero(0) or I would work with the negatives??
If you get a negative LCL, you must set it to zero.
🎉🎉 thanks bro well understood
this video is a finance majors dream
Thank you for such a clear explanation… I’ve been having trouble with these concepts and this explanation made everything very clear.
You're welcome, Richard. Thanks for dropping a note.
@@joshemman really great channel 👍
Now when utilizing simplex method what's the main difference between maximization problem and that of the minimization problem
For a general question like this, it is better to ask AI.
@@joshemman what I am looking for is this: there are different ways of solving minimization problem and all. What I am looking for is how you get your pivot row and column in minimization problem. Some material says you multiply the objective function first by -1 and all. I just want to really know that difference between Max and min when solving for pivot column and row

This is very nice, but if i may ask how do you know if it's a one tail or two tail test if diagrams aren't given.

Please for the maxi maxi I think there is a mistake because from the table the number 14 from d1 is the best,15 from d2 is the best and 18 from d3 is the best and so when we compare everything the best of best is d3 which is the figure of 18 please
Note that these are costs -the smaller the better.
Thank you !
I am so glad i found this page, when the syllabus seemed too much for me , you made it easy for me. Lots of prayers for you sir !! And love from your student in Pakistan
Thanks Hajra. All the best.
why did we add fixed cost of $2000?
Total Cost = Fixed Cost + Total Variable Cost

What if z = 0.8125 What should I do
Round to 0.81 if you're using the table.
@@joshemman oh okay thanks!!
Almostly, the best!!!
Excellent! I've watched about 10 of these Break Even Analysis videos and this is the clearest and also one of the shortest ones! Love it!
