I actually got to see them live in my formative years opening for Billy Idol (maybe @ lake compounce) JUST F'N AWESOME. All of us fans pushed those stupid metal barriers out of the way. None of us gave much of shit about the haadling band. We were there to see FAITH NO MORE!

Patton has always been nuts; never wanted to be a rock star, seen and done it all. His write-up in Fortune magazine is a worthwhile read... He doesn't need money, NEVER been interested in being a rock star. He's not doing this for anyone but himself. This is a logical progression. As to the whiners: There's a reason he throws fake money in the air at recent MB shows when they play 'My Ass Is On Fire'... Its for you. He knows you won't show up for what HE wants to do next, you want a Guns N Roses reunion tour. He gobbles up those sour grapes in his mouth.
