You're missing chaos lord which is a 7/7 with a bunch of words that I never bothered to read.
These cost 8 mana? Nah i dont even get 4-5 lands in a game most of the time
That's some expensive shit :')
Got to cheat it out in higher power metas. However they are fun when you play lower power.
The one that bolts stuff is alright, not a first pick by any means, the rest are pure bulk unless you can cheese them in
8 mana pherxian arena lol
It’s definitely a lower power card but the upside is you get the card every upkeep. Not just yours.
Tbf, it is every upkeep, not just yours
Koma is the best force
Agreed
Obeka OP with these
Came here to say this!
Cheat them out early in Obeka and they put in some work
I need salty eldrazi commander any ideas
Just reanimate them, otherwise they are far to expensive and low impact even for casual EDH
The epitome of 'too little.. too late'. By the time you can hard cast these.. the game is probably over.
The blue one can Twiddle TOR for max funny.
Noice 🍌
I can not in good conscience recommend Inniaz. It's a great CONCEPT and it sounds like it SHOULD be fun..... but the book-keeping involved just turns it into a miserable slog. Assuming of course that everyone is ok with having their stuff repeatedly stolen by the Inniaz player (even though it isn't all going to Inniaz, the Inniaz players still gets to decide who gets what). Excessive book-keeping and repeated theft.. does not make for a very fun experience.>< The rest are great though.
I’ve never played with Inniaz. I didn’t realize it could be so oppressive.
@@LVMTG It's a theft commander with EXTRA book-keeping. Most theft effect are either until end of turn OR it stays with whoever steals it. It's not even necessarily oppressive... it just turns into something of a chore keeping track of which permanents belong to who. Great idea in theory... not so great in practice.
It really is astonishing seeing how tight the mechanics and storytelling used to be... Not to be a boomer about it but man, they took their time to get it right.
Before modern design, mechanics and flavor went hand in hand. I think the 3 set block structure back then really helped with the story. Also the lower number releases per year couldn’t have hurt either.
That scolarship sponsor seems insanely good, especially against green players.
It definitely evens the playing field.
Pain's Reward is bonkers in Vilis. Bid as as much as possible and draw a MASSIVE chunk of your deck. Worst case, someone outbids you so you DON'T do this and you've vaporized a huge chunk of their life total.
It wins no matter what with Vilis.
Flumpfs are Aberrations, not Fiends
Fiend is a term of endearment.
I play shimmer. Puts in hella work.
I knew real legends existed
All five cards on this list of yours are in my Gluntch deck 😆
The gift of gluntch
lol... I'm sorry, but that last one is the funniest thing I've heard in a while... Build your deck better... my first thought was I'll start by changing out this card.
I’m glad someone got the humor
Wierd harvest is a pet card for me i own 7 and all of them are in decks. I love that card so much!
That’s awesome
I love these 5 dollar builds. Wondering what’s next maybe merfolk or elves?
I actually have 2 unique tribes in the pipeline. It will be a few weeks however. I’ve got some larger MTG video essays dropping.
The Algo showed me your vid probably because I watched the Professor DanDan video recently. As a red mage this is awesome and def wanna try this out! Curious if budget means no bouncelands and no surveil lands? What are some non budget cards?
The surveil lands didn’t exist when I made this one but they are a perfect fit. I can’t think of any other cards off hand. When I built this deck budget wasn’t a focus but it did happen to shape up as an affordable build.
Humble defector isn’t as great. Had a friend play it in a 4 man pod of commander and it ended up only being passed to everyone but him after he used it once.
That is the risk. You’ve got to play it with friends or politick real hard.
it becomes swords to plowshares* *for 4 times the cost and a built-in counter mechanic 😂😂😂
Someone gets it
Hey I like the Ichorid and other cards but i feel Lapse of certainty is too similar to Memory lapse and the Cave of koilos break the elegance of "5 touches from Ichorid is defeat". Now you wil have to track the 1 life from the Caves of Koilos
That’s a good point. I never even considered that when putting this list together. Definitely need to swap out Caves of Koilos.
Yesssss feed me more fodder to use and delete
The weekly feedings will continue. Don’t you worry.
I'm just upgrading My chaos incarnated precon, changing😂 kind of... Yesterday I met with My Friends in a local shop an find sauron, I'm glad I pick it up and this extra tips man! Tnx
I’m glad I could be of help
@@LVMTG by the way, ThnrJnts give rakdos some exile sweetness, so fun mixin up, and realize this kind of rakdos is super replayeable a lot of combo mechanic depending whereas you adress, almost every time with kind of the same base and goblins, shamans, rogues, demons, berserkers ...... Jejeje love it
The last card does nothing against chatterfang
For real?
Honestly with all the "rule-0" crybabies, there's no reason for a ban list
I go both ways on the ban list. Cards like fast bond and moxen might be too broken. Coalition Victory and Biorhythm definitely aren’t.
This deck is exactly what i was looking for!
I’m glad I could help. I also have a $5 dollar Urza deck on channel and more $5 decks in the upload schedule.
In the era of AI-generated art... We need to give greater freedom to artists for pieces like this.
I hate that AI is replacing artists. I was finally getting used to the digitized art but AI is a step too far.
It's really sad looking at modern card art. The artists are so skilled but the space most of them are allowed to work in is so narrow. Don't get me wrong, there's still good art, but the consistency overall makes the art so much less compelling piece by piece. I remember when wotc dropped their restriction on digital art, and at the time I was all for it as a key indicator of progress, but I wonder now if it was a part of a larger trend towards centralising creativity in a way that inevitably will lead to AI mush becoming the standard.
I hate the homogeneity of modern art. I love how you could tell a Pete Venters piece from a Kev Walker piece. Now I couldn’t name a modern magic Artist.
Wrong turn is so good.. Donating gross commanders is my fav.
Nobody expects Wrong Turn during a game.
Fun blue card is not a phrase I expect to hear
Yeah it’s a conundrum for sure.
Noble benefactor can be dead in your hand without opposition agent, perplexing chimera doesnt give them a 3/3 it gives them a perplexing chimera that makes you now have to make those hard decisions, and wrong turn is basically just pongify or rapid hybridization for 3 mana except against major value pieces that work in any deck at which point it just sucks. To be clear, i love perplexing chimera, but these just aren't good carss remotely
They definitely aren’t good cards but they can add some fun to a game.
Wrong turn is nasty
Super nasty
You forgot the original diamond valley. But man it cost a lot
I didn’t realize I missed one.
I bought the last two for my cleric tribal deck
Nice. Which Cleric is your commander?
They countered my vorinclex far to many times.... now they shall know the terror o jin
That’ll teach them
“Mellow-violent”???? Mel-lev-o-lent. 🤦♂️
It’s working
Doesn't Martyrs cause do the same thing as Circle of Dispair?
It does indeed.
There's also an aura that gives all the abilities of fallen angel to a creature.
What aura is that?
@@LVMTG Fallen ideal
*calls people cowards for not trying these *Shows Sadistic Hypnotist, one of the most oppressive cards you'll ever see in a token deck. No one is allowed to have cards in their hand
Sadistic Hypnotist is a ruiner of playgroups.
Deathrite shaman
The shaman needs respect. I don’t know why I didn’t include it.
Skeletal vampire and infinite mana
That’s something I can get behind.
With committing a crime being a thing now, I don't think Rayne is as unplayable as you think. Know one will want to commit a crime against you.
Not a single player
Tap Dauthi Trapper to give Fallen Angel shadow and sac a bunch of creatures and attack with it. How can she be blocked?
She cannot be.
Should is a strong word pal
I actually think it’s not strong enough.
@@LVMTG I would argue it's an inappropriate choice of wording
I've been using thermopod in my mono red artifact creature sacrifice deck
Got to keep that redundancy.
