The good old 5.7 v8,simply reliable.Mine currently has 204k miles, runs like new.toobad Toyota messed up and discontinued the v8,only v6 available for the new tundra.😢 Toyota now recalled it after hundreds of failures.Toyota quality is now about like ford,in other words, they became "American".
Appreciate the video, about to do the same with my 1992 LeBaron
What the top speed
@@kombatboiiii5747 I'm not sure I never really tried to measure it, probably will do 50 if you wanted to but it was more comfortable around the 20-30ish range I'd say
hey ! just a qustion . on todays market 2024 and my truck been an Associated T3 factory team drove four times in my back yard and once in a track , Titanium , Graphite, Aluminum ... like , How much money is it wort ?
Oh no no no ... I'm sorry , the kit did not had a body , I purchased a Chevy Silverado clear body that I painted myself.
I want to get this exact one for 16k with 180k miles is it a good price?
@@volquezm6689 Depends on a lot of factors like if it's clean title or not, 4wd or not, how clean the interior and exterior is. But if it all checks out then it sounds like a decent enough deal
@@rccr23 i went to see it today and it looks like new. Its 4wd
These bikes are bullet proof. Lije you mentioned might do rings and valve seals once in a while but last for over 40years. I have an 1982 model which is basically same core engine. Bought it used and thing takes 1-2kicks to start. Original clutch. Feels faster than it is. Top speed around 70kph...with an adult. I'm 5ft 8 and about 170lbs. It takes my weight but you'd need heavier front springs in forks to accommodate adult weight on jumps. Alot of xr100 suspension parts are interchangeable to give a modest lift. Really nothing bad to say about bike. A nice affordable and reliable lil beast.
2014 Toyota Tundra SR5, 130,717 miles
Rubber mallet under $5 from your hardware store, use that on everything sensitive.
i've got a '93 Pickup with 243k on a 3vze & i'm just hearing eyeing that 5vz 👀. it's really interesting to see how similar the interior details are. wouldn't trade mine for anything though.
Where do you buy parts for yours????
I actually sold this kart like 5 years ago so I'm not sure nowadays. But anything related to the motor/transmission can easily be found on eBay cause its just a gy6 150cc motor. There's a lot of karts out there that resemble this one though so I'm sure sites that sell parts for 150cc go karts would have stuff that would fit this.
Just completely restored my sons 96..repainted it toyota quicksand tan..repowered with remaned engine, clutch and flywheel. Radiator..i put a 1.5 inch lift to clear 32 inch tires..truck looks gorgeous.
How to check the oil life before resetting
It doesn't have an oil life monitor, it only brings up this message every 5000 miles
There is no reason to get under the vehicle. And take out the battery to give much needed access space.
Best truck!!! Played a lot of shows with it. 3 peace band that truck was perfect for load and unload of band gear with shell. Had the xlt sr5 forest green. Miss it :(
Is there a reason why you use 15w40 as per the recommend 5w30?
I like the heavy viscosity, good for the hot weather here, helps with oil consumption, plus you can't get Rotella t4 which is conventional in 5w30 and I don't want any synthetic or synthetic blend cause I don't want any leaks to start.
@@rccr23 interesting. I’ll try the 15w40 next oil change. I live in south Texas and it’s hot/humid as hell down here.
Idk if you will ever see this but do you still have the “ecx torment 1/10 4wd” rc car. Because I have some questions on it because I saw you had one and so do i
Yes I still have it
@@rccr23 do you know if it’s worth any thing stock right now, or if I tried to sell would any one buy it
@@Way2Toxic08 I'm sure you could get something for it, the price just depends on where you live and what other rc cars are going for. But it's a hobby grade rc so it's worth something for sure.
Ok thank and then last thing, do they still sell all the upgrade brush motors and all the other stuff
@@Way2Toxic08 any 540 size brushless motor should work, I put the 4000kv dynamite tazer system in mine and it works great
I have an LT with a roof rack aswell, I was wondering if it’s possible to adjust the racks and bring them more to the front?
To be honest we've never tried so I'm not real sure. I imagine it probably would adjust though if you mess with it enough
@@rccr23 Alright, thank you so much for informing me.
is it stick or automatic
Auto
Just bought this. Same trim, color. Subscribed.
Until now the engine is still running without the repair? And still use the stp?
Yeah still use it every oil change. Running strong with 215k on it now. Still has the tick but it hasn't caused any issues
Any idea how to clear the tire pressure sensor light? All my pressures are good but light is still on.
Might need a special tool to reset or reprogram it. But there is a little button down near the floorboard you can reach from the driver's seat that does some sort of reset on the system. Search up tpms reset tundra on KZread and it'll give you an in depth video on how to do it.
@@rccr23 it may be a broken sensor because I go through the steps to clear it but it just won’t go away. I appreciate you answering back.
@@johnwilliams5842 yeah that's probably what it is, we got some used wheels and tires for this truck and have the same issue, it needs to be programmed to the truck with a special tpms tool
@@rccr23 I’ll take it back to the tire shop and see. I bought the truck used, it had new tires on it but a day after I left the dealership with the truck, light came on and I could never get it reset. I added air to the spare today and it did do something different but the light continues to be on anyway. Baby steps lol.
DeltaFlow muffler quite with a catalytic, but had one on my Porsche 944 with the test pipe cat delete and Bursch Exhaust Header it’s was fucking loud. Lol
I have this exact truck w manual trans and 4x4. Amazingly reliable and such a utilitarian truck. Mine has power windows, locks, cruise control, and tachometer. Because of the rarity and options on my truck, I got the bed rhino lined and fixin to get a professional paint job. Paid $5k 5 years ago w 150k miles.
What year is it mines a 1994 stick
Nice, this one's a 97
What type of engine do these use bro. I blew my gaskets and I wanna change them out. Mines the same like yours but mine is a 250cc do you have the link for the gaskets that will fit these engines. Tia.
I don't have a link off hand but if you look up gy6 250cc engine gaskets I imagine that would bring up something.
Sounds lil lumpy on that warm idle! Noice!
I have this exact truck. Just picked it up with 226k miles. You still driving it?
Yessir, 320k miles going strong. Just replaced the brake master cylinder on it today
@@rccr23 Amazing
This aint a long bed its a standard size bed long bed are 8feet long
Very nice and well explained video! 👏
Last spring I posted a thread about this on a Toyota forum. People were like, no, it’s impossible to get that bolt off without removing the wiper assembly cowell. It’s not. Remove the throttle body on the right, take your right arm, wrap it behind the intake, and guide your left hand (with the 1/4 inch ratchet), and it comes off in 20 seconds. Good for you to make video a about it! Wish I had thought of that. Nice job!
Thanks for the share
needs a longer bed
Can you drift it
Yeah if you put some tape over the tires or if you're on a slick surface you can kind of "drift" it
This helped so so much
Excellent
When I realized there was a bolt back there, i was like, wtf! Came straight to YT and found this video. You don't just rock sir, your a freaking Rockstar!
I make sure that I never put that bolt back. You are welcome next guy 😂
Babe wake up, rccr just posted
4:20 has the best tech tip
Indeed
The prodigal son has returned 🙏🏿
What kind of tires?
BFG KO. They are 31s
Thank you for helping me make my final decision. I'm getting one this week
Superb video. Exactly what I needed and less than a min. Not 15 min of bullshit talking and plugging products. Thanks
A dead-blow, soft-faced mallet is the best so the axle threads don't get damaged.
I must have a higher trim model bc. I have cruse and a tac on my 96
Yeah probably so
I had the stupid grommet problem too. Hit it with an angle grinder. Thanks!
Thank you for this video. It’s very thorough
Thanks Bro that did the trick.
My first and only rc car so far Except mine is different...?
Yeah they changed them around some. Ones exactly like mine are discontinued
@@rccr23 funnily enough, I think I just killed my servo today 😂
@@Jonah-kb2nm aw that's a bummer lol
Thank you bro 😊
I believe my best friend had this same bike dose it have a clutch? I know his had clutch I had xr50r 1983 his was 2000 something I know it wasn't 2 stroke it was 4 stroke 70 or 80 with a clutch. I would like to find one like he had that thing cruised if I remember correctly lol.
Yes this one has a clutch
