The Kalish Institute

The Kalish Institute

The Kalish Institute was founded by Dr. Daniel Kalish, who developed The Kalish Method, an easy to learn clinical model of Functional Medicine. The outgrowth of over twenty years of positive clinical results, the Kalish Method corrects chronic health conditions through a logical sequence of therapeutic programs, use of the best lab tests available and a focus on effective patient communication techniques. It is rooted in the belief that the best patient outcomes can be achieved through accurate and state of the art lab testing combined with age old natural health principles and that we each have the ability to fully heal. The Kalish Method Mentorship program teaches health care practitioners this work and helps build thriving practices. Today, more than 7,000 practitioners worldwide have graduated from the Kalish Institute.

I like all of this video, and find it useful for purposes of experimenting with amino acid supplements and trying more potent Co-Q10, but I refuse to subscribe to this speaker’s mental illness model, regarding gene inheritance. I am wealthy and highly educated, therefore will not subscribe to a mental illness model. I am inheriting money, not illness genes instead. If the speaker would reference chemical panel deficiencies as treatable to improve one’s feelings of health and well-being without insinuating something wrong with one’s mental health given any discovered amino acid deficiencies, as he does when referencing gene inheritances early on, I might try this speaker’s panel study instead of iollo. As it is, I believe I would have more control over iollo panel results, although I will need to watch these videos a hundred times before I understand how to interpret my own metabolic panel results. As a more positive inference, if, when interpreting my metabolic panels, something appears inexplicable, instead of rejecting the result, I might suspect a genetic condition, but without labeling it as a problem. Research is my addictive behavior, and I love my addiction. After decades of daily consuming a (whole food) multiple vitamin, I quit multiple vitamins cold turkey, knowing how they were doing gross injustice to refined metabolic systems, my body requiring discreet nutrients determined on a daily basis, based in actual food consumption. I keep a bag of hemp seeds in my refrigerator and toss one or multiple teaspoons of hemp seeds on top of whatever else I am eating if I feel my diet on any particular day need those extra vitamins and minerals. B-Complex gives me tinnitus, and the result of a discreet high dose B vitamin supplement is worse, migraine-induced vomiting when combined with the 5 ml. of Lion’s Mane tincture I consume on a daily basis. So, I read bananas, salmon, potatoes, milk, eggs and cheese, all contain B-6: I will stay committed to a daily banana, and I can even eat potato chips once in awhile. Cheese is something I absolutely adore, every variety, yogurt too, and eggs, so I will remind myself B-6 is necessary to reach dopamine levels.

Thank you so much for the presentation. It's very easy to understand and very informative. I just wanted to leave a review saying I think you should put some affiliate links in there. Makes it easier for people to find different products, but you might get a little bit back 😊

Bullshit you should do this in front of patients. You should tell them what you’re thinking and you should let them choose. This has been the problem with the medical system. Why nobody trust doctors is because we are perfectly able to educate ourselves. Medical books can be bought online and studied you can become a doctor without ever going to school. We can make decisions for our self sounds harsh, but that’s because I was sick one time and I went through this whole medical system and thank God I found a naturopath however it very much woke me up to being my own advocate, making my own choice studying my own stuff and it’s interesting how you’re teaching people in the medical field, but they need more teaching classes of people that aren’t in the medical field on how to help them heal their own bodies.

Thank you for the wonderful video. I’m an allopathic physician and Love the world of functional medicine. I have a question. I don’t know if you are able to answer if anyone in your audience is able to answer: can you supplement MSM in phase 2 detoxification? I take most of these vitamins almost on a daily basis. Five times a week is probably my average. With this support phase one and phase 2 detoxification or do I need to supplement more when I’m actively trying to detox. I’m not really sure why I need to detox I just feel like I do since I’ve never done it before. I’m of Indian origin and our food is loaded with antioxidants. I also had a question about Alpha tocopherol. I thought the tocotrieol was the better form of the vitamin E. Would you be able to comment on that? Presumed that being on a vegetarian diet that her urine will also be alkaline? I know this video is three years ago but I’m just viewing it in 2024. thanks again.

I have been using protein powders for 2 decades at same time weight lifting. Felt great for all that time till I stopped using them and stoped working out. Aminos are crucial and protein in diet primarily meats. Carnivore diet is now my staple. I still supplement with clean protein without artificial sweeteners and added ingredients. I feel better and have more energy when on high protein diet.

Those sneaky paracites! In the morning before drinking coffee or any type of food or liquids go and buy a coconut and drink all the coconut juice! That paracite wont know what hit them! Coconut milk from a real coconut cut it and drink it all repeat every day and in a week or 2 weeks they will exit dead! They will hide if you drink coffee or any foods! Just consume a real coconut milk from a real coconut you will beat them to being able to hide in tight corners! They are very a live and taking all your nutrition B-12 and iron! After taking your Dr, prescription medication no suger, no faty food's in 2 weeks youll be fine full of energy again!

How do we know the dosages? How was this knowledge created , eg that we need at least say 600mg of lipoic acid ? And how do we know how to differentiate according to the lab number each time ? Eg a number two times above the upper range would mean to double the dosage ? Or to tripple it? Or what ? Is there some kind of a rule? Thank you.

That Genova test is like half a thousand dollars. I already known I'm positive with Pylori due to a stool sample done by Labcorp. I stated taking quad therapy 5 days ago and had to stop due to major nausea and unable to eat. Where do I go from here? I plan on getting an adrenal saliva test done. But as far as eradicating the Pylori, are antibiotics those only thing that's going to help me return to a normal weight?

Love your studies!! My mom has recently gone through 3 yrs of testing. No one knows why her eyes are folding in over her cornea. She has also what acts much like dry eye. She has biopsies. Every thing came back negative. So I changed her diet, nothing changed. Then I put her on Reishi mushroom 1,0000 MG and she is getting well quickly. She is letting her specialists know, because they tried everything and nothing helped but Reishi. Even tho I had her on b- complex and changed her diet, Selenium, bi lingual b 12 etc. All b vitamins ... nothing helped but reishi. She is so happy. 3 yrs of pure hell. She also takes 1 to 2 tablespoons of olive oil, which is known to take the inflammation out of your brain and body and feed the brain fat, because the brain is made of mostly fat. ❤

I have always been intrigued with your studies. I was completely healed from lukemia by prayer and diet. I was treated 3 times for it. But the Lord gave me the gift of repentance. I had lost my closest brother in an accident, within 6 months I was diagnosed worth lukemia. I remembered the healing of the woman with the issue of blood on the bible, so I took my hand up and grabbed the cloak of Jesus, and I believed with a mustard seed of faith in that moment. And also changed my first and increased nutrients , no sugar not even in fruit. 20 yrs ago.
