Creating a nuclear bomb must be like the opposite of landing on the moon, instead of progressing humanity’s future, you are in a way destroying it. Instead of joy, you might feel a kind of dread.

the part about obscure F0s kinda made me laugh because recently we had an F0 go right over our house and knock down a tree in our backyard that was right next to our house. Luckily it just fell into the garden but it could've fallen smack dab in the middle of our dining table XD

Is noone gonna talk about the fact that at 13:46 is a sound of the german APHE shell piercing the T-34/76' armor and exploding, killing 1 member of the crew, from the movie T-34.

Feel free to fact check this but wasn't Orange herald the biggest yielding fission bomb at just under 1mt? Brittan tried to cheat the fact they had hit fusion bombs with the 1mt number but it worked out to be just one massive fission bomb

Fun fact: Sakharov's layered fission design was one of the main reasons Sputnik was the first ever satellite. Since the alarm clock/layer cake bombs were heavier than the Teller-Ulam ones, the R-7 Semiorka (the first operational ICBM) was much more powerfull than needed, enough to put a satellite into orbit.

one possible point of comparason is volcanic eruptions as they can have just as great if not greater explosive power behind them altho large eruptions more continuous lasting many minutes if not hours whereas a nuclear warhead releases a similar ammount of energy near-instantaneously, making for a much more violent type of explosion

why is there a two second shot of a restaurant that looks just like Las Pollos Hermanos from the breaking bad television series? And in fact, it has a car just like Walter White in front of it. It also has only the name change Los Alamos Hermanos.
