These two black ladies (nr.3 and nr 4.) are clearly much more than boogie woogie pianists. But in those years it was not accepted for black people to perform classical music. So there were several gifted black musicians who made a living as boogie woogie pianists because there they where accepted. And Ladyva is great to, BTW.

Back in the day when boogie was King, it was played at a much slower tempo. There is no doubting the skill of these Ladies but the solid rythmic beat that is the core of Boogie is lost in the frantic pace shown here. Clever yes but these performances are party-tricks and not the best examples in my opinion. The most authentic example in this clip is Donna and even she is pushing it a little. Bogie is NOT a race to the finish.
