Sorry for my ignorance but what cars came with a 12Ht ? I am finishing up a 78 Fj40 with a 1Hz. Currently working on a custom 4 door FJ45 with an LS and a 6 speed automatic.

It came in the Land Cruiser 60 and the Coast HB31. They were not produced in great number, hence the high price today

I live in the Middle East in Saudi Arabia , and I have a Land Cruiser from the series FJ40 and I already have a 12 HT engine . I want to convert my engine from 2F to 12HT . And i need to know What are the tools required to convert it . Although I have the installation rules for the engine 12HT and if there are any additional pieces so I can install it correctly . Whats the other tools or equipment that I need for the converting . And Are there other obstacles to avoid in order to get the full adjustment . I need your help seriously . I had a HJ61 with a same engine and I sold the car when exactly have almost a million KMS!! and the new owner still use on long trips!! I missing that's really a one of the best TOYOTA engine's 👌👌 you can driving to end of the world

Did you have to give major service? Such as head gasket, pistons, rings? İ am looking to buy an HJ61 with 330k km. But I'm worried if that's too high

@@urbanturbine not do nothing on engine!! when I buying my have only 280.000kms! but after 900.000kms started eating a little oil!! every 7000kms around 1,5 liter!!! more or less!! because never change a original Turbo!! I never forget that damm car 😏 is a really king of the 4X4👌 do not have a Best fiability equipment 👌 I replaced a shoe brake pads, every 80.000kms change a oil on both differential's, transfer case and a timing belt every 100.000kms!! very important 👌 injectors and diesel pump NEVER EVER give me a problems 👌 I sold because I need money for payment's if not i never sold!👌 this is a awesome 4X4 you never stuck on the road 👌 is really important to know the owner conditions!! if take care on maintenance 👌 about KMS!! forget the mileage!! the engine must be cleaning 👌 just a few oil dirty on right side under the oil filter!! nothing more 👌

@@urbanturbine sorry I said timing belt but alternator the double fan belt!! my is a 4liters Turbo!! no timing belt! I think only on benzine version have a timing belt 😏

12ht are no longer available new. They are roughly $4500 second hand or more or $10,000 rebuilt (AUD)
