  There is no bias toward Russians-ism which would factually be correctly labeled as imperialist- Muscovianism if your trying to spout lies about Ukrainian history and the fact it was the Ruthenians that essentially founded Moscow ands existed many century's before Muscovia was a useless swamp. Dude all my mates in Dnipro are Russian speakers most from Luhansk and Donetsk, all that nonsense was fabricated by Putin. There is no Rusyn, there is just the country of RUSIA in the 18th century and then Peter the great/not appropriated the name Rus and forced the name Vkraine/Ukraine "borderland "and dissolved the name Muscovia rebranding as RUSSIA. Check all the maps from before around 1690-1710. Ukraine is the legacy motherland of RUS and the ancient bloodlines exist today and Putin want to enslave the ancient city's of Kyiv, Chernihiv, Chernobyl etc. He ordered the destruction of historical literature in Mariupol and elsewhere and even just bombed the biggest printing house in Ukraine 2 days ago.

  Calling Rucynacs Ukrainian is like calling Assyrians or Kurds Arabs. You wouldn't call a Kurd an Arab so why call a Rucynac Ukrainian

  W Polsce większośći osób którym udało się uciec z dawnych kresów wschodnich Polski wogole nie chcę nic o tym mówić i mają łzy w oczach jak ktoś pyta co się wydarzyło na Wołyniu w latach 1943-1945 w rzeźi Wołyńskiej jakiej dokonywało UPA z pomocą miejscowej ludności ukraińskiej w ludobójstwie zginęło ponad 100 tysięcy Polaków w większości przypadków kobiety dzieci i starców w wielkich cierpieniach okrucieństwo jakiego człowiek do dziś nie widział 😢 najgorsze jest to że teraz stawiają pomniki Bandera i Suchewycz odpowiedzialnych za decyzje o ludobójstwie na Wołyniu to jest coś co nie miesci się w głowie żaden kraj na świecie nie wynosił by na pomniki takich bydlaków. Polska jako kraj i zwykli ludzie bardzo dużo pomogli podczas napaści Rosji na Ukrainę tak finansowo jak i militaria jak również zwykli ludzie pomoc była i jest ogromna można powiedzieć że najwieksza w całej Europie patrząc na PKB danego kraju i prawdą jest zęby nie Polska pomoc Ukraina po prostu nie dała by rady nawet sami politycy ukraińscy tak twierdzą a my po tyj całej pomocy ukrainie nie usłyszeliśmy słowa "przepraszamy za Wołyń i tych wszystkich ludzi którzy zginęli na Wołyniu z rąk UPA i miejscowej ludności ukraińskiej" tylko tyle sprawa bardzo często jest uciszana przez stronę ukraińską. pl.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rze%C5%BA_wo%C5%82y%C5%84ska

  The Poles invaded Belarus in 1919 and took people's private houses for themselves, forced then to convert to Roman Catholic religion and forced them to speak Polish. Many Belarusians are 100% ethnic Poles and 50% inside the same family. When the USSR regained the lands in 1939 the Polish officers who were given Belarussian properties were deported to Northern Russia to labour camps..

  Save me your tears. Unfortunately all your troubles stemmed from an incompetent Czar born in 1871 namely Nicholas the Second. The Russian people were the most affected and traumatised first . Then the Bolsheviks gained power and peoples lives improved immensely as the land was shared collectively.Unfortunately a ruthless dictator gained power and the terror began. Russians had it worse than you and millions died in labour camps in Siberia. You at least has the possibility to immigrate to America. Some smart people like Czechs , Poles and Serbs went to live in Trieste where the living standard was the highest on Europe. Unfortunately Germany invaded Russia and Europe was turned into a hell hole and fascist countries who collaborated with Hitler were not looked on favourably by the Russians. The South Slavs who fought fascism howeret were. You can't have your cake and eat it too so goes the saying.And by the way Russians lost 27 million people liberating Europe.

  I saw Old Ruthenians nearly lifelike in a museum in Belarus near the Polish border where there is a zoo with lynx and bison. They were hunting with crossbows and had lavish costumes probably nobility. They wore mustaches and no beards and wore feathers in their hats.

  You are right. The only people who can decide who Rusyns are are the Rusyns themselves. Many Rusyns identify as Ukrainian. I am a Rusyns who identifies as Ukrainian. Some Rusyns do not. I am happy to identify with my Rysyn - Ukrainian brothers and sisters. Those of you who do not should just go away to Hungary or Poland or Slovakia or wherever you think you will be treated better (good luck!) and become a headache for someone else.

  Ruthenian is Latin and English name for Rusyn. So no Ruthenian is in fact from Rus' = Eastern Slavic. And in English for saying "from Rus'" is OLD Ruthenian. Modern Ruthenian is Rusyn. There are synonyms.

  Carpathian Ruthenians and Ukrainians from Galicia come from the White Croat tribe. In the article about Transcarpathia in the Polish Wikipedia it is written that in the 9th century the White Croats had a principality in Transcarpathia with its capital in Uzhhorod, which was under the influence of Kievan Rus. It is also written there that Hungarian rule was consolidated there only at the beginning of the 13th century, that attempts were made to settle this then wild and uninhabited province with settlers from Germany, but regardless of this, the colonization of Transcarpathia by settlers from Galicia continued. The Vlachs migration was of a mixed ethnic nature and since the Vlachs in Moravia retained their Vlach identity, and no one in the Prešov region and Lemko region considers themselves a Vlach, it means that the Vlachs did not stay there, but went further and reached Moravia, or possibly there stay a small admixture of them, which assimilated. In the times of Austria-Hungary, on Austrian ethnic maps, both Carpathian Ruthenians and Ukrainians from Galicia were marked as one nation the Ruthenen.
