  Common rails don't really smoke like the older mechanical injection engines. Most of the smokey diesels now a days are from dumbass owners running a smoke map thinking its cool to pour half the fuel tank straight out through the exhaust.

  I miss this car so much, had to break her after insurance was asking 3 5k. 5 years later. Insurance dropped to £600 but the car itself is now 5k to 7k for decent non rusty spec 😢.
