Hi there Erin. The Mac mini (at least I had were at the corner, so I would either reach under my monitor or over my monitor and feel for the button.

Doesn't it absorb heat from the monitor?

Hi there Marcelo. Fair point doesn’t seem to. Admittedly I haven’t used the Mac mini for a while since upgrading my laptop. Seems to be adequate spacing to dissipate heat particularly the material it’s made of.

Hello. Hopefully you can find the parts you’re after. And these are STILL working a treat for me btw. In fact, I’ve used the magnets to make another clip for cables (which I’ve done a video for too).

Great video! Can that hold a DSLR with a let's say 70-210mm?

Thanks for watching and compliment. I still use it for many uses and it feels like overkill when I just hold my phone. The unit is rated for 5KG so all depends on how heavy your lens is with the DLSR. Trying it with my own DLSR which I weighed at 1.1kg (18-135mm lens canon EOS 650D) and it was absolutely fine. That was with the legs spread flat. With the 1st click of legs and still not extended I was able to rotate the camera 90deg to face lens down. With the steepest legs, without extension, still in 90 the camera was head heavy so would topple but extending the legs in that same position was absolutely fine. Think of a top down shot for product or something. Hope that helps.

A cheaper and easier fix is run a piece of painters tape across the back if the item poke a holes through the tape where they need to go and then just place the tape on the wall as a template..

Thanks so much for watching the video and your comment Alfredo. Definitely cheaper with tape but I’m not sure on easier. The challenge with tape is that you then have to play with still _guessing_ final placement. Particularly an issue if it’s important to place it specifically. Along with alignment (from my experience)

@@agiotezza Agree, final placement would still require a Guesstamate but the screw with will be spot on. I use a very expensive tool for the placement, my wife. LMFIAO
