If you get specialty dining for two with your cruise can you reserve a night at chops before or do you have to wait till your on the ship
We steered clear of the Specialty Dining package because they make you wait until you are onboard to book the specific restaurant/time. I believe they offer one "courtesy reservation" prior to you getting onboard, but I suggest you contact Royal Caribbean or your travel agent directly to figure that out before you board. In case you are wondering what we did, we booked Chops Grill and Jamie's before we boarded to ensure we had the day/time we wanted. Thanks for watching!

We are trying Royal for the 1st time next year. I'm trying get my wife not to miss Carnival. Would this bar equate with the Alchemy Bar carnival has?
The Bamboo Room does have unique drinks (with a tiki bar theme) that may remind you of the Alchemy Bar. If you like a relaxing bar/lounge with an extensive drink menu, I also recommend The Bolero Bar (which also has live music and dancing in the evening) and the Schooner Bar (popular lounge style bar with trivia during the day). Does JiJi's offer complimentary lunch options like pig and anchor?

Just got back from Spirit cruise. Overall, food was mediocre. Desserts from buffet a bit subpar. The chocolate desserts were lacking in flavor. Key lime pie pretty good. The ice cream was more like ice milk. The Pizza Pirate was subpar. Good crust. Didn't care for tomato sauce. Guys was good, but not as good as our cruise from 3 years ago. Not sure why. The deli...buffalo chicken thick with breading and not much chicken. Hot dog was poor. Hot chocolate was good Overall, food was not high quality. Was like Golden Corral. On a scale of 1-10...most items a 5 or 6, a few 4,a few 7.

🛳️I’ll say that Carnival has the most “free” options of all the cruiselines. Almost all of it is top notch. One I’ve not tried, though, is the Pig and Anchor, and your descriptions/photos have my mouth watering. Can’t wait till I get to try it! Regards to you and Joy❣️

Are all of these places Free eating or just the food you have to pay for?
Several of these are included. Additional charges apply to for Bonsai Sushi, Cucina del Capitano, Fahrenheit 555, The Chef's Table and the Seafood Shack. Room Service continental breakfast is included, but otherwise costs extra. I hope that helps.

My cruise isn’t until Christmas. I bought priority access today for my two staterooms. Hopefully, they’ve fixed some of the issues you’ve stated. I’ve yet to find anyone who recommends it.

Trying to figure out WiFi stuff. Going with group of 20 relatives!!! Some have apple phones and some have android, like me! We are all in concierge rooms lined up, but expecting lots of where are u, we're here, messages! What's the best way to communicate? We all have basic wifi right now. We know about turning on wifi calling. I mentioned Whatsapp and some of the over 60 ppl already complaining. But i want to recommend best ootions. Most are 50s, 60s, and a couple low 70s. Thx for any advice!
You are in luck! Celebrity has an awesome app that includes a built in chat/texting function. My wife has an android and I have an iPhone and we encountered no problems with it. The best part is, you don't need to purchase the internet package. Just do this: 1) Have everyone download the app before the cruise (link with details and download are below), 2) Have everyone turn on Airplane Mode once onboard, 3) Connect to the free Celebrity wifi, 4) chat, view activities, check your onboard account, make reservations and more all in the app! Woul like your opinion on speciality items that are on the MDR menu ie: eggs Benedict, corned beef hash, cheese grits. Your orders were food I can get on land!
We didn't order the items you mentioned, but I can say that, of the six cruise lines we have been on, NCL ties with Celebrity for the best overall MDR food. Thanks for watching!
What's your advice on buying drinks individually vs getting the drink package.
Our approach is to only buy a drink package if we know that we will have at least six drinks a day on the package. If it is one of the alcoholic drink package, then everyone 21 or older in the stateroom must purchase that package. So, if two people, 21 or older, get an alcoholic drink package, they need to drink twelve beverages a day between them to make the package a good deal. It is a rough way to estimate your best option. For us personally, we like to buy Celebrity's Non-Alcoholic Drink Package, as we can easily drink enough of the bottled water, specialty coffees and soda to make this a bargain. On the other hand, we never buy the alcoholic drink packages (we have taken advantage of promotional alcoholic drink packages on NCL that cost no more than the gratuities). I hope this helps. Starbucks drinks are only included in the Premium Plus Beverage Package and the Unlimited Starbucks Package. They are not included in the Unlimited Open Bar Package that is frequently offered as a promotion when you book your cruise. You can order any of the drink packages in the My NCL section of ncl.com. How expensive are these restaurants though ?
We don't include the prices as they do change over time. Most of the specialty dining options we covered have al a carte menus, but all currently include a 20% gratuity just like the dining packages. The cover charge for Teppanyaki and Moderno Churascaria is currently $59 per person. The prices for steak and appetizer at Cagney's start at about $50. An appetizer, entree pairing at La Cucina will run at least $30. Sushi rolls are currently $12 - $18 each. If you are planning on doing a lot of specialty dining, the dining packages are almost always a better deal on NCL. Of, course there is plenty of complimentary food onboard, so you can avoid, or limit, paying extra as well. Thanks for watching!
Did you say the balcony staterooms have a 129 sq ft balcony (at about the 20 second mark)? Even at 6' deep (which would be really deep for a standard balcony room), that would be a 21' wide balcony. The floor plans indicate 30-32 sq ft which seems more in line with my experiences on other ships (3' x 10').

Where does a Pullman come out from usually
Balcony and Oceanview rooms have sofas that convert into a bed, but the Pullman style beds (or "Upper" beds) are mounted to the wall and fold down. If you book an Inside stateroom, the wall mounted beds are the only option, as they do not have sofas. Thanks for watching.
