Tutorial please😊
Before the end of this week it will be uploaded
Can it be sewn with ankara
Yes of course
I like your teaching
Thank you
I love your ball gown Can i sew something like this for a 10years old?
Of course yes…. Inorder to make it full for that age bracket, you need more yardage of tulle.
Please ma, how much did u buy the fabrics by 6 yards
I bought the Ankara fabric for 14,000 naira as at last year December 2023 in Nigeria, I don’t know the current price now. It 💯 cotton fabric.
How many yards do u use
At the start of the tutorial, 0:40-1:15, The yardage of each individual fabric used were stated.
Beautiful dress ❤ pls did you use hard or soft net?
Medium tulle net…not hard mesh net because it’s shrinks after washing and not the very soft net tulle because it won’t give the ball shape effect for the dress.
@@GG.GiftGodstime thank you
Thank you so much 😊
I salute you
God bless you

God bless you abundantly Ma for the free tutorials I'm benefitting from. I love all your kiddies tutorials.
Pls i would love a complete tutorial ma❤
Beautiful ❤
Thank you
Please is there a crinoline at the hem line of the ankara dress
There is no crinoline attached at the hem.
Nice dress can I Make boxpleat with strech velvet
Yes u can, but the outcome will not be the same, different choice of fabric brings about different outcome i.e (from the waist line where the box pleats start it will be obvious but as it flows down the effect of the box pleats may not be seen due to the fabric) if the fabric is too slippery for you to handle add interface at the wrong side of the fabric to make it abit firm.
Dp you have a video on how to draft basic sleeve for kids
It’s the same method of drafting the adult the only difference is their measurements. I will drop the link of how to draft a detailed adult sleeve. kzread.info/dash/bejne/qKaiuKufn7OxfLw.htmlsi=zNUzA2ggYaSvL1hd

Beautiful
I love this can I get it sis
❤❤
Do you have online class
Am currently Working on a detailed online courses.
Thank you ma,,what fabric is this
The main outfit is Damask fabric, the ruffles in front & the belt at the back is organza fabric & lastly the yoke part is tulle net.
Nice one Well done Please what is the length of the net you gathered on the sleeves and what is the measurement.
I used 4inches in width about five layers each because tulle are transparent in nature, the length is 54inches long. The gathered stitch is made at the mid point of the 4inches.
How did u get the radius for the blue dress
Please while cutting on the fabric how do you include the calculations of the pleats in the radius for the blue dress? Did you add the number of pleats to your waist measurement to get the radius ? Thank you ma
Like I explained in the video, firstly u will determine the no.of pleats u desire for e.g I want 8 pleats. Next you will also determine how wide you want your pleats to be for e.g 3inches, since it’s inverted pleats it requires two pleats coming together i.e to get one inverted pleat you have to take this 3inches width multiply by 2 which will give you (6) so now you are working with 6inches for one inverted pleat. So you will use this 6inches multiply by the no of pleats i.e 6*8 = 48 so now to get your desire pleats you need 48inches just for the inverted pleats next you will add ur waist measurements for e.g 24inches for waist then add you zipper allowance for e.g 2inches so the calculations will be 48inches pleats +24 waist measurements +2 inches zipper = 74 inches so you need 74inches. Now if you want a 180 degree flare shape as the video illustrates you will use this 74inches to divide 3.14 the value is 23.5 this is your radius. You go ahead and mark 23.5 starting from the apex of the triangle, once you draw the curve the left over is what you will determine how long you want your length to be, with this calculation you will also know the yardage of fabric u will be using.
This is really helpful, thanks for the illustration
How to join the the back wen u want to put zip
There is no zip added, it’s encased with elastic at the band. You close the back by sewing normally. The elastic band makes it wearable and fits perfectly
Hi

Soo cute😘😘😘
Must linen be used

Thank you so much ma, can we make hard net under it if we can’t make a petticoat? And d
Yes you can but I don’t recommend for kids because of two reasons 1.) it can cause discomfort if it gets contact with their skin. 2.) it’s shrinks almost immediately after washing.
Thank you for the reply
Lovely tutorial 🎉🎉❤️
Thank you
Hello ma’am! Just came across your tutorial! Please what material did you use for this style, and how many yards!and what makes it stand so well like this please 🙏🏾
I used milkado fabric, and as I explained in the tutorial it depends on the pleats you want and the length you are working with when you calculate with the method I showed, that’s is what will determine the yardage you will be using. For this tutorial I used 3yards of milkado fabric. For the standing effect I made Children petticoat for the child. The petticoat is not attached to the dress she wore it differently underneath.
@@GG.GiftGodstime Thank you so much ma🩷🙏🏾
Please ma can you teach how to calculate the pleat ma

Beautiful tutorial, but i noticed from the mini fabric you used to illustrate, you didn't curve the waist area, like you did to the hem region. In essence, you just cut it straight. Can i know why it is so? And also if thats how you cut the bigger fabric (the main skirt).
Yes I cut it straight & the reason was also explained in the video but I will also explain further. I took my waist measurements divided by 4 then, I placed my tape in such a way it will tally with the figure I got. The cutting will be straight not curve. I also have other tutorials that the waist region was curve like forming 360 degree flare and 180 degree flare, using circumference calculations i.e (6.28/3.14 for pie) with this method of finding radius, the waist will be curved while cutting but for this tutorial it has to be straight. Lastly the same way I cut the mini illustration is the same way I did for the main skirt. Also I added extra to the waist because I was joining to the back I.e for the front & also for the back I added extra more for zip allowance
Thank you for your swift response 🙏
That’s such a beautiful dress, I’m sure she enjoyed her Easter in such a lovely outfit!
