I would like to suggest some songs by Lovebites less considered by the reactors, but which are real jewels for various reasons: "Signs of Deliverance" Live: Incredible and crazy performance of guitarists "Dancing with the Devil" Live: unusually unleashed asami on stage "Today is the day" LIVE: wonderful guitar solos and asami on the piano "Thunder Vengeance": Live from "Ride for Vengeance 2021", not the best known version of 2020: exciting choral performance and small but tasty battery solo sincere thanks

You may still be able to get tickets on the resale market. This is their first tour of North America. It was hard to get their label to agree to even this tour, so it's not clear whether they will come back in 2025. We can hope!

Fables, I’ve seen Rush 13 times, Van Halen, The Who, Alice In Chains, The Cars, AC/DC, The Pretenders, and I can go on but one introduction to their song “Thrill” and that was pretty much the hook that made go down that beautiful place we Maidiacs like to call, the “Pigeon Hole.” Their music is like having all of those bands I mentioned above all rolled up into one supergroup. They just never miss! Saw Band-Maid in 2023 in a small club called St. Andrew’s Hall in Detroit,MI

LOVEBITES - Rising lyrics: Failure or pride? The fear deep inside Success doesn't come with a few empty tries Fortune and fame, seem easy to claim But those who've succeeded defeated the pain Why give up on a life that you love? Play the game with no shame till the very end RISE AGAIN - though you're broken and scarred... You can choose, not to lose, you can build it again! DON'T LET GO - of what's deep in your heart You are free to fly, go and change your destiny! Too late to change? The past will remain But it's up to you to decide on a name Glory is not what miracles brought The path you have taken will lead you the way Why give up on a life that you love? Play the game with no shame till the very end LIVE AGAIN - with the vows in your heart Even if you get lost in the darkest of nights DON'T FORGET - that you've made it this far Show your scars with pride and believe your history... Sometimes we can't see the light anywhere Sometimes we don't have our luck in the air Almost like we've been left by ourselves I'm alone, you're alone, somewhere in the world But open your arms, look up and you will see an endless blue sky l believe, you believe, we will live out today So it leads to tomorrow! SOLO: midori / miyako / midori / miyako / both RISE AGAIN - though you're broken and scarred You can choose, not to lose, you can build it again DON'T LET GO - of what's deep in your heart You are free to fly, rise above your fate! LIVE AGAIN - with the vows in your heart Even if you get lost in the darkest of nights DON'T FORGET - that you've made it this far You are free to fly, go and change your destiny! ----- lyrics: asami music: miyako arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami) album: Clockwork Immortality 12/05/2018

LOVEBITES - We Are the Resurrection lyrics: Blowing storms, Rising shadows Thunder roars, Appearing once more No one knows, Trouble and struggles What we've been through, Where does justice go? With the soul burning endless inside me We will hold all the promise we made Staring in silence Feeling the weakness Creeping up on me Building up walls but this is my way All the pain Will make you stronger The answer is all inside of me Through the dark, what we have all been waiting And the land that is laying beyond determination Reflower of roses The beginning of your stage Leave all of the deep sorrow and starting this new journey This beautiful melody will purify everything Free yourself, strong and bravely Believe in the way you are SOLOS: midori / miyako / both Blowing storms Rising shadows Thunder roars Appearing once more No one knows Troubles and struggles What we've been through Where does justice go? With the soul burning endless inside me We will hold all the promise we made Staring in silence Reflower of roses The beginning of your stage Leave all of the deep sorrow and starting this new journey This beautiful melody will purify everything Free yourself, strong and bravely Believe in the way you are ----- lyrics: asami music: midori, asami & Mao arrangement: Mao & LOVEBITES album: Judgement Day 02/22/2023 -----

Glad you're catching up to the new Lovebites releases. Wait till August 28th and they'll be 19 more tracks on this Live album and an EP with 5 new songs. This was one of my favorite songs on Judgement Day when it came out last year. This official live is even better than studio and pirarated live versions. Keep spreading the love of Lovebites. Fifty one reactions to this and counting.

I've been to three of their live shows. When they play a venue, there is no opening act. (generally) - They also don't do encores. And they usually play a long show. Talking to people in line is fun, because Maidiacs are a pretty chill and cool bunch of nice folks for the most part. You'll find that the crowd is as loud as the band sometimes (like the show I went to at the House of Blues in San Diego in 22.) The band interacts with the crowd a lot, and they're seeking eye contact. Everything about them is real - their talent, their enthusiasm, everything. The crowd feeds the band energy and the band gives it back double. You may go to watch Mincho or MISA and find yourself unable to tear your gaze from Saiki. She's got the magnetic pull of a......a.....Black Hole!

I love Band-Maid's "Start Over" because I'm into great writing, playing and well-constructed songs. But the jewelry store ad MV... not so much. Songs like Daydreaming, Bestie, About Us, Memorable, Anemone, Endless Story, PAGE, Wonderland, Awkward, Start Over, Mirage, At the Drop of a Hat and Smile can help them more than most of their catalog to become more approachable and widely accepted by the general public. However, I'm afraid the kind of songs I love from Band-Maid, The Warning, Lovebites, and Jinjer will remain a tiny, tiny niche like a sea slug in the ocean of teaming pop life. BTW - Start Over sounded awesome in their online live OOJ Concert. And it gets great fan reaction as seen here in Amsterdam: :kzread.info/dash/bejne/c3utudeOnZO5eaQ.html (Fanvid thanks to Vladimir Chupin) Thx, Fab!

So a lot of their older stuff especially, probably is the type of music you were thinking, but even then, all their music is just so good and varied. I hope you continue down the rabbit hole. I love literally all of their stuff and I really never thought that I would or could. Popular Monster is the first song by them that I knew and loved.

Ain't no band who writes, plays and performs like Band-Maid! While I've watched Magie climb from an initial 6, when I first heard it, to a 7 and now an 8 (taken from a recent survey of my cerebral musical cortex ;-), I always appreciate the execution, sound and, once again, performance of all their songs... even starting with "Made In Japan," released in 2014 when I first became entranced with the Magical Maids. Thx, Fab!

This movie came out between the second and third seasons of the cartoon. Because it was written between the first and second season it doesn't feature many of the characters introduced in the second season. It was widely unpopular at the time because it kills off most of the original cast and focuses on the new toys that were being introduced here for the first time. The animation style was very jarring at the time as well because it didn't match the aesthetics of the low-budget cartoon animation. The toy line never recovered (even after resurrecting Optimus) and the North American cartoon would get cancelled after the third season with only a mini-series that never led to a full fourth season. The Japanese audience got a full fourth, fifth, and sixth season.

Bandmaid have had two openers in a USA show, both were industry plant nepo-kids which is a measure of the value placed on the bandmaid audience. I get the impression it was pay to play. Miku is not a demon at poker for nothing (vice champion of Japan at speed poker). They shared the stage with the Warning in Japan but that mutual girl-crush. A genuine love match.

The good news about wanting to buy all the toys is that Hasbro recently launched a "Studio 86" line of figures which are even more articulate and poseable than the toys that were available in 1986. There was no Arcee toy for decades. There would be no Unicron figure until the 90s. (Cybertron is the size of Earth's moon for comparison. But scale is very fluid in G1 Transformers.)

Yes, you've heard most of these voices. Peter Cullen is Optimus Prime in the live action films as well. And if you've seen a cartoon or movie in the past forty years, you've heard Frank Welker. Most famously, he's Freddie Jones in every animated version of Scooby Doo. He's also now the voice of Scooby (and nearly every animal you've heard in a live action film). Robert Stack (Ultra Magnus) was the host of Unsolved Mysteries and Leonard Nimoy (Galvatron) was Spock. If you've played a video game with voice acting, you've heard Neil Ross (Springer) and he did some Hanna-Barbera, yes.
