  Thank you very much for the video. I have a BMW 325 E36 Cabrio, 1994. The function that lowers the windows when I open the doors does not work. On most of these cars I see that they have the latch striker on the door frame, (same as your video) but it doesn't happen on mine. Do you think it can be found inside the door? In that case, how could I solve it? The rest works fine: the windows go down, one tuch… Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge

  Slightly different, had to hold the power switch much longer and then press again to force the reset. But after that it fixed Bluetooth which had suddenly stopped working. Thank you😊

  This worked. I can't explain it, but Make sure the car engine is on. Turn off the screen and when it turns back on...hit the APP on lower left hand of screen. Then it options button to the bottom right of your scroll wheel.

  Amazeballs this fix really works. The Bluetooth function mysteriously disabled itself in our late model BMW a few weeks ago and it couldn’t be re-enabled via the iDrive menu! We were going to wait until the next dealer service was due (and expectations of a a possibly expensive fix), when I decided to do a web search for a possible fix and stumbled across this video. Just one point to clarify, the vehicle needs to be parked and have the engine running when performing the first step in the video (I.e. pressing down and holding the entertainment system VOLUME button). Thank you for this awesome fix!

  I have a manual with same issue, it only needs clutch to turn on though. What could be the issue? No crank, lights turn on with button and turn off with button. No start
