Why didn't you use any mapper library like mapStruct? I just started learning Spring. Just wanted to understand the advantage of manual mapping rather than a mapping library.

Lost in the world of funds - a poetic reflection on the journey to reclaim them.
I want to format localdate to dd/MM/yyyy but is not working. I did this but LocalDate.parse is converting back to the default format Here is my code: DateTimeFormatter formatter = DateTimeFormatter.ofPattern("dd/MM/yyyy", Locale.UK); LocalDate date = LocalDate.now(); String dateString = date.format(formatter); LocalDate formattedDate = LocalDate.parse(dateString, formatter);
Now it is clear. Earlier I used to think DTO and Objects are same. Thanks .
Good day greetings

What is indexed annotation?
Thanks
Thank you for this tuto However at 37:24 the app won't launch for me when using @AllArgsConstructor, but will with @NoArgsConstructor. The CLI tells me "Parameter 0 of constructor in (here the controllerPackageName) required a bean of type '(here the servicePackageName)' that could not be found." Then after trying it in Postman (with @NoArgs), I got a 500 error code with this message : "Cannot invoke "pathToService_createDto_method" because "\this.employeeService\" is null in (the CRUD controller)"
