Great video! Love that Farmall. What YEAR is the Farmall????
Maybe you can move your mic up closer to your face, it’s very hard to hear you when you are talking in this video.
Miss your vlogs with chickens 😢
Do more chickens video 😭 I have to wait until next sunday noooo
Here I am late again. The dirt looks good out there, ready for seed or plants. I was a little worried when you had to hold the little calf up. It was good to see her nursing. That new shop looks familiar. Have you guys had it for a while? It looks good. A place to put more stuff. Is it me or do you guys keep growing out of buildings? That's good though. Kim's store stuff needs to be somewhere. I noticed Elmo scratching the dirt and making noise when the tractor came around like he wanted to butt heads with it. Alright, I'll try to be on time for the next video. Keep up the good work. Another great video.
Love Lulu. She's a beauty. 🐈⬛
Are you planning to grow your herd or is this about what you’re aiming for? Except that he tears things up sometimes, Elmo seems to have been a good addition.
Other vlog without catching chickens 😭
I love mine, I also chose the shuttle shift, with cab. The combination I wanted was needed to be ordered, so I had many months to wait before getting it, so I had the SSQA pallet forks a while before I had anything to put them on.
Good to see you guys again. Been busier than heck doing the final work on the old family home so we could get it listed for sale. Good fix on that burp tank hose. Looked like some serious work was done on the mower. Was that Kim's dad doing the work, and getting those blades hooked up and working on the tractor? Nice job he did on the blades. Pretty good cracks of thunder I heard. Heavy rain coming? Good to see since you need it so badly. Would those chickens bite you if you tried to take the eggs by reaching under them? Glad you had a good turnout at the neighbor's strawberry farm. I don't know if I missed a video, I'll try to catch the next one on time. Sometimes things conspire to keep me away from doing the things that I love doing. That includes watching to see just what you two are up to. It was great to spend a little time with you guys. 😉🥰
I had a great time watching the Mayo video. You guys are so cute!!! Andy said it taste like the paste we used in school 🤣🤣. That is a lot of oil. Olive oil is a heavy oil. Maybe a canola oil. Or like Kim said. Nothing wrong with my Dukes.🤣
Love that little goat
I think I’ve decided you can’t be a farmer unless you are also a mechanic. It doesn’t seem to matter what kind of equipment you have, there’s always something to fix. Best to you! Karl
Cool vlog 🥰
Wow! Excited for Kim.
Have you sold any cows? They are bringing a lot now. Enjoyed the video.
Enjoyed this episode! God bless you both.
Wishing you great success on your events coming up and golly gee if Harbor Freight isn’t growing in the crafting world. I see quilters and cross-stitchers alike purchasing from them especially carts for storage. I buy my glue sticks, tweezers, magnetic bowls, drop cloths, tarps and anything else to help aid me in my craft. Jack on the other hand buys so much there that he has a track club membership and I get his free buckets for my container gardening. I watch White Cottage Company and Mary uses drop cloths for curtains and a variety of other sewing projects. I’m just so excited for your growth Kim because you have a gift that needs to spill over into all our lives. As you know even my birds have liked your wreaths but I guess if I were a bird cotton would be pretty comfy in my nest!!! As for Elmo…he has really become quite vocal about his likes and dislikes but his antics are humorous…to me. I am curious how long a bull can stud. Elmo is getting to be how old now? Looking forward to watching your garden grow again this year right alongside the craft barn. Praying for you to have some rain and always for your safety Andy. Blessings!!!:):):)
Hi you guys! How big is the new building (sq ft). Do you need a business license to have a business on your property? I know you do up here, thought things might be different back east. I could sure see the truck moving around when Kim did that short talk. Pretty windy, huh? That Elmo sure can be a butt when he wants to. I mean those gates weren't hurting him, the butt. You guys have certainly outgrown the shed. What's going to happen to it once you're in the new building? Can hardly wait to see it. Coming on a lowboy trailer? I would consider trying to win those tickets Kim was talking about, but kind of faraway ;). Onward and upward you guys. Love to see the growth. Like I said, looking forward to seeing the new building. Till next time...
😀I am so excited for you and your growth. I am also glad to see you posted a new visit because it was getting time to put out an APB if you were absent any longer!!! Even Jack was beginning to question your absence and that’s saying something. Well who knew Elmo was an interior decorator😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣. I’m truly sorry for the weather not cooperating but it’s looking as though it’s not stopping those creative juices one bit and that is a good thing! Chunky sunflowers…you know, thick enough to drill a hole for a dowel stem would be pretty cool don’t you think? I like it all and now that Jack is finally moving forward in his health recovery I’ve got time to think so I do see an order coming in my very near future. You know, rugs flags and anything else I might find in your virtual store that strikes my fancy…no I haven’t forgotten but me time has been in very short supply for nearly 2 years now. I haven’t had to drive him to dialysis for 2 weeks and that has been a blessing. He is now back to walking just a bit and it’s past the drive way so I’m cautiously optimistic that he is FINALLY on the mend. It’s been a LOOONNNGGG time coming but I’ll celebrate any little progress he has. Don’t stay away too long for I miss you both terribly when we don’t visit. I miss the Elmo antics as well. Blessing to you both and do stay safe Andy!!!:):):)
Y'all down near the coast? I saw the sandy soil in the garden and thought it was. I'm from Dallas NC just NW of Charlotte.
Love your channel guysss but never both did the funny vlog trying to catch chickens 😂😂😂❤ have a great week 🥰
I remember when Elmo was born, and Meredith's daughter bottle fed him for quite a while. Geez, hard to believe that was 30 years ago. No wonder I feel old. I remember when I met you and Kim as you picked up Elmo. I have watched and was impressed by your little farm as it continued to grow and mature into what it is today. I enjoyed watching as you guys did the bottle feeding on couple of little calfs. Still is hard to believe it has been so long. Look forward to many more years to come.
Had a great laugh at Andy's mayo descriptions. We ate paste not glue. Love your sense if humor Kim & Andy.
Mine was not charging, after I fixed that, it has been a very good side by side.
Try 2 eggs first, 1.25 cup oil, 1 tablespoon mustard, 1/2 lemon juice, 1 tsp salt. Blend at bottom about 30 seconds ,then up and down about 30 seconds. Use a good olive oil. Dukes is good!
Try adding a little vinegar
Don’t use that cheap olive oil in the mayo. I like 1/2 qt Castrol 20w50 along with 1Tbsp re-conditioned Vaseline to thicken. Sometimes I switch the Vasoline to Mentholatum to replace the lemon flavor. Good video.
That looks very good. Love mayonnaise.
It looks good but it still has a little bit too much oil taste. We are going to try with less oil and see how that does.
Well, that was interesting watching your attempt at mayo. No offense, but I think I'll stick to my Best Foods mayo. You mentioned snakes. Will the chickens kill and eat the snakes? Kim, your display at the Gardner event sure looks good. Here's hoping you sell a lot of stuff. Watching that little calf eating hay was cute as the dickens. Chicken coops looked good after you were done. Substantial difference. That backpack sure looked like it was heavy. Like you said you're going to be sore in the morning. Still haven't made it to Kim's Etsy shop. Money is tight. I know I would end up spending money I really don't have. Well, I guess that will do it for now. Be back on the next video (I hope).
Yep the mayo was a bust. I think we new going to try with less oil next time. Chickens will peck at them but they still get into the coop and eat eggs. I just not a big fan of snakes. We did pretty good at the Master Gardner event. It was good to see the folks again from last year. That little calf is sure growing. She was out sunning yesterday laying flat out. We have just a little more spraying to do. That sprayer was heavy. Waiting for the wind to settle down again so we can finish up. You can go do some window shopping at the Etsy shop. You don't have to buy anything. We know money is tight. We are feeling it too. Hope the weather gets right so we can plant the Sudan grass and cut back on feed and hay. It is always good to hear from you. We hope you have a Happy Easter!!!
Hard working country folk, my kind of people. And we share the same state 😊
We appreciate that and we are glad to have you neighbor.
What happened with your vlogs? 😭
We have been kinda slow on getting a video out but we will be back on track soon.
@@WorleyFamilyHomestead do you will make the funny "catch the chicken" challenge vlog? 😂🙏
Due for my first oil change and there is controversy on whether or not to use conventional or full synthetic oil. The manual doesn't specify which and someone mentioned to me that full synthetic oil can cause clutch slippage. Any recommendations?
I used regular conventional oil. I have not have any problems with it. If you find out that the full synthetic oil is better please let me know. Thanks.
I left a comment on this video. What happened to it?
I'm not sure.
Beautiful items!
Thank you. Kim has been busy in the shop.
Great video. We love your channel.
Thank you 🤗
No vlog yesterday? 😭😭
'Promo SM' ☝️
Shoot I didn't even know she had a shop on Esty. I shall go to Esty! I was beginning to think that the ground rod was going to get the better of you, Andy. I should have known better. What happened to the goat? Sell him. Oh, he could be in freezer. Clever way to move the goat house Andy, with your back. Obviously, glad to hear that the new calf is doing good.
Yep. Kim is still putting things on Etsy. Hope it will do good. I really thought that ground rod was not coming out. We moved the goat to the cow pasture in another pen. He is doing good so far with the cows. I’m glad the goat house wasn’t too heavy. I don’t think Kim thought it could be moved that way. The calf is doing really good and growing like a weed. We hope you are doing well and it was good hearing from you. See you next time
Still not funny vlog trying to catch baby chicks 😭 but I love all of your vlogs ❤ have a great week 🥰
Getting things accomplished, well done , stay safe , enjoy .
Thanks, you too!
Do you actually have to take the skid plate off to get to the drain plug? Also, when you check the oil level do you screw in the filler cap or just check it without screwing it in?
Yes. I did have to take part of the skid plate off to get to the drain plug. It was not that bad to take off. I usually do both when checking the oil. But I believe the right way is to do it with out screwing it back in. Thanks.
Geewiz Kim, I didn't look like you wanted to be a guinea pig to test that cattle prod. Sometimes you're no fun); Good to see the young bull wasn't too much trouble to get moved. Although, I was looking forward to seeing the cow prod in action. Since Kim wouldn't play along, I thought the young bull would need some "Encouragement" but, heck he must have figured out you had that prod at the ready. Those cow heads turned out nice, I really like the wreath with two of them in it. I didn't know Kim had a store on Esty. I'm going to have to check it out and to my favorites.
Andy, can you put another wire in between the others just to narrow the gap to keep the calves from getting through the fence? Loving all the crafts Kim! I enjoy your videos!
Can you do a funny vlog catching baby chickens when move the chickens? 😂🙏❤️
How cute! The new calf and the cow heads. I just knew you’d doll them up pretty as you please Kim. You have a real gift going on in your craft barn. It just does something to my head seeing you both dressed like you live in a northern climate. I never realized that it got that cold in the Carolinas but I guess Carhartts are necessary everywhere. Me…I rarely ever wear a winter coat and shorts are the dress code in my house and probably should be a bathing suit with Jack being so cold all the time. I do want to thank you both for all the prayers during this last year and I will say that Jack is starting to have better numbers in dialysis. He got a good report from the cardiologist 2 weeks ago so hopefully we can keep him on an upward path. It has been a very tough 17 months and I know without all the prayers I think Jack would have given up. What will you be doing with the younger cows that you put Little Elmo with? Are they for freezer camp or selling as well? And no news on Billy so is he still on the farm or did you find him a new home? Kim…will we see a new batch of chicks this spring or are your hens still laying good? I think about this every time Tractor Supply is mentioned but never any livestock comes home in your purchase bag🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂. I guess I keep hoping to see a new addition to the farm. Thanks for the visit…I just enjoy your vlogs so much!!!:):):)
Really nice work, Kim!
Thank you!
Great video be glad when it warms up. Just to let you know Buddy's little sister cries every time you touch her lol. I see he likes his belly rubbed like her. Do you have a new police car.
Great review, thanks...glad you got your buddy to watch out for you
Thank you. She loves to ride. I will do an updated review soon. We have had it for a little over three years now and it has been great.
Yay I just watched the video and so excited to get my phone stands!! Love your family videos Keep up the good work
We hope you are liking the phone stands. And thank you so much for ordering them from us.
