  This song was written by Gerhart Mann (1907-1970), who the same year (1936) changed his name to more Estonian-sounding Jüri Mandre. In 1944, he fled the advancing Russian army to Germany with his wife Nora Ihse. From there, the emigrated to Baltimore, where he became one of the leaders of the musical life of Estonian expats. The lyrics ("At night, dreams find me") were written by Otto Roots (1914-1994). The singer Artur Rinne (1910-1984) was extremely popular in the 1930s and, after almost a decade spent in Gulag for being briefly drafted into the German Army in 1944, continued his career well into the 1980s.

  MOJO magazine Mar.2016 ran an article on this band and its infamous cover. It was and is ..a a direct Influence on Sgt.Pepper LHCB! 3 years later! It's Uncanny !
