  Useless crap got it and the screws will not stay in place the stupid covers fall of all the time and the gap will not close between the lock even after the main zip tie has been cut its a peice of shit and sometimes the screws are so shit they won't come out I had to pry a knife to finally get it to unscrew and even then my opening was too small for any of the extentions but apparently just too big for the regular gate what kinda stupid shit is that

  *I did a lot of research and found this gate to be exactly what I needed. **do7.pl/NSBabyGate** I wanted a walk through gate or a swing gate for the top and bottom of my stairs. I already have 3 different gates at my home, so I knew the exact one I wanted. It was just about reading online and other helpful reviews. I purchased the North States Easy Swing Gate because of the reviews as well as the video. I also had some questions and called North States and they were very helpful. They have a tool online to find the right gate for you. I also selected this gate because I don't have a lot of time to properly measure and install with a toddler running around. I was extremely happy with the easy step by step instructions. They are clear and concise. They give you easy templates to attach to your wall/post, etc. I highly suggest pre-drilling your hole because the screws alone won't cut it. They have easy installation directions with pictures. I'm handy with doing these types of things and this was really very easy. I had the gate up within 15 minutes. The only thing that took up the most time is figuring out what I plan on doing (front swing on right, or left) and the measuring what size gate I needed for my stairs. I attached the gate to 1x2's and zip tied them to my wood banister. I did not want to put holes in my banister because I am not planning on using this gate forever. The gate is strongly made and would highly recommend this product.*

  Yea I bought this off someone and they had cut the belt . Does that mean I can’t use this anymore

  No it just helps installation go smoother. You can zip tie it back together if needed.

  Doesn’t show anything about the wall cups. The bolts do not tighten like the video shows. The instruction booklet sucks as well. I’m ready to throw the whole thing in the trash.

  If it doesn’t open or close smoothly then it’s screwed too tight. I had that problem so I looses screws a little and it fixed my issue.

  You can zip tie it back together. It just helps installation.
