Or that water is really good at shielding radiation so they wouldn't get much exposure anyway..

Well done. That is evolution. Animals dp not mutate either by the way thats something that happens in cartoons like tmnt.

Might be dumb af to irradiate our oceans but what do i know? 😅

The more I learn about Orcas, and the more research that gets published about them, it seems clear to me that out of any other creature on our planet, they are our equals, if not incredibly close. They have languages, culture, sentience, & so many shared aspects most people would argue belong to humans alone. Having grown up fascinated by marine biology and with a cultural anthropology degree now, I can safely say Orcas are truly intriguing. It's been nice to see more public admiration for them in recent years.

Random thought, vegans who are cruelty free - antivenom requires milking these animals to develop the antivenom. Urgo, do they refuse the treatment when bitten?

It happened due to Natural Selection? Or the radiation itself influenced their genes?

Animals can have cancer? If not than the radiation is just a mistake humans made and the animals had to take the hit and adapt to the change of the environment.

That does make sense, since corals are older than the atmosphere that protects us from UV.

But hydrogen bombs don't leave nuclear fallout, or at least very minimal, because h-bombs are fusion reactions with little to no radioactive byproducts. So, the claim about corals radiation resistance is not supported by this evidence. Why is science communication getting so incorrect and incoherent.

What this really means is the wolves more susceptible to cancer were killed off by the cancer causing radiation, and only the highly cancer immune wolves survived. The radiation didn't protect the wolves, it just killed off the weaker ones.
