Sir why you didn't do continuity correction?
When we use CLT then the distribution of sample means is Xbar is approx normal so there is no need for cc. Watch my fisrt lecture of this series on CLT to understand it well.

My pleasure The accepted region is the region of Type 2 error. So in a lower tail test fisrt find the CR and then find the prob of type 2 error.

sir i have a query first you said that the continuity correction for both distributions will be same but then in poisson you said if test value is less than lemta take upper bound , my question is will the continuity corrections for both distributions would be different ??
Brother hope this helps……if u r testing for lambda(poisson) or p(binomial) < x. Then H1 you have to write <=x,similarly if u r testing lamda(poisson) or p(binomial)>x,then H1 you have to write >= x. That’s why when he is doing less than lambda , his alt hypothesis (H1) is actually <= ,so you use upper bound.
CC is same for both Binomial and Poisson. It depends on the type of tests and so on the sign of H1. If H1 has a < sign then add o.5 into X tye test value and if H1 has a > sign then subtract o.5 into x

Because when the test value is less than the mean or lambda in POISSON then you are performing a lower tail test in a two tail test

hello sir i have a question. For example I am finding Type error probability which is the same as of critical region. I took 5 but I got the value which is greater than significance level. So what next value should i take 4 or 6? Sir i am really confused in this thing?
Is it for Discrete distribution?
If its for a Discrete distribution then You need to find the critical region by using trial and error. The prob of CR is the prob of type 1 error.
