    It looks magical in pictures but the snow from this storm was extremely heavy where we lost quite a few branches from our trees in the front yard. One tree in particular looks a bit sparse on one side due to all the breakage.

    Could they have been a different type of moth, such as clothes/carpet (also a few types of them as well)..

  • @helpfulnatural
    @helpfulnatural24 күн бұрын

    The moths entered my house via bags of corn-based kitty litter. When I unsealed the bag(s), they flew out and made themselves at home. Using the fly strips, I finally got rid of them which took several years. I also got rid of some cardboard boxes where they were nesting. I'll never buy WBCL again, that's for sure.

    When I bought this a long time ago, I wanted to get away from microwave popcorn and all the chemicals. After several months of using it only a couple times per month, it started falling apart. 🤨 I now make popcorn in a brown lunchbag in the microwave. There are always a few unpopped kernels but for the most part it works very well.

  • @helpfulnatural

    The instructions do say the upper part is dishwasher safe but I've never done it because it's too difficult to get all the water out. If you have a fan, place the part in front of the fan on high speed with the grinder part laying on its side. Turn it over ever now and then to dry it out. If you don't have a fan, you can use a blow dryer on low or warm setting...NOT HOT. The hottest temp may melt or warp the plastic bean hopper. Hope this helps.

    If machine is grinding that fine, do you still need to use a pressurized basket on your espresso machine? Seems to reason a none pressurized basket would work?

  • @helpfulnatural
    @helpfulnatural2 ай бұрын

    I did try that but it still wasn't quite fine enough, the water ran right through the porta filter. When I bought a Breville Smart Grinder Pro, there was quite a difference in grind size/quality. It also had more options to dial in just the right setting for my non-pressurized porta filter.

  • @maximus3ae
    @maximus3ae2 ай бұрын

    Thanks for the response! Thats what I'm hearing elsewhere as well. I'm going to try this 3d printer holder for upper Burr holder that is suppose to allow for a much finer grind. Theoretically it "moves" the original settings 6 dots counter clockwise. Meaning if I put the bodum arrow on the espresso symbol it'll really be six spots beyond the ezpresso setting if I didn't do the modification. We'll see if it works out!

    I only do cold brew so what Grinder would you recommend for fine grind?

  • @helpfulnatural
    @helpfulnatural2 ай бұрын

    Cold brew typically uses a coarse grind. If using the Bodum grinder, turn the arrow on the bean hopper all the way to the right so that it aligns with the last dot which is also the setting for French press.

  • @cpwrestler
    @cpwrestler2 ай бұрын

    After disassembling and washing the hopper, water has become trapped between the clear top and black bottom. I’m not sure how it got in there and I can’t seem to get it out. Any suggestions?

  • @helpfulnatural
    @helpfulnatural2 ай бұрын

    I suggest laying the hopper on its side and sit a fan in front of it to speed up the drying. There are a lot of small nooks inside the feedtube so it may take a while to getting completely dry. I don't expose any of my coffee grinders to water because it's difficult to dry it all out. I have another video showing how I clean this grinder using Minute Rice which works great for removing trapped coffee grounds as well as the oils.
