The Free Luts are a scam so that he can have a database and sell it, most probably. We should all report this as scam to KZread.

This is not the best solution for Zoom calls on a Mac. The "Text overlay on Image" one of many of the Elgato promptter features will NOT work with Zoom. Total deal breaker. It seems this Prompter is better suited for windows os, gamers, twitch kids etc...

Did you install anything specific to get it to be recognized by your mac? When I'm plugging in i can get the teleprompter hub to work but doesn't recognize as another display

try quitting the "camera hub" app in your menu bar. But make sure to leave the "display link" app open on the menu bar.

Hello! If I want to record a video with this microphone on my phone, the sound will be mono, if I understand correctly. My question would be, will the sound still be good for youtube or do I need to edit it to be stereo? Thank you very much!

It should record mono to both sides using either one or two mics. From what I understand there is no true stereo, but I haven't used it enough to test it out. Not sure if the app has the ability to change that, but I believe using the camera adapter and both mics you get two channels, one from each mic. Sorry I can't be more helpful but I'm still new to it.

If you stay perfectly still between takes while you glance at the scrip on the laptop, you can actually have jump cuts that are completely undetectable.

At first I was like "okay, nice troll job", then being the frugal minded man I am, gave it a shot, and have used this on my last two videos, which I think have had my best delivery. It's funny because I ended up breaking scripts down for videos in the past when I realized I couldn't memorize a straight minute of speech, but by writing my scripts with breaks in mind, I'm able to write stuff that actually flows better, because I'm planning my stops/cuts vs letting the limits of my memory determine those.
