C. Vivian Stringer a class act. I met her once while officiating AAU Basketball in Texas. She was so gracious to us refs. Thx for this legendry recording ❤

I find it funny that when she committed to SMS, they told her she would not get to the final four and not going to UConn was a major mistake. I can only imagine her saying I'll show you I know better! #Go Lady Bears.

That motor-mouthed female commentator needs to find a line of work more suitable to her constant jabbering. She ruined the audio portion of the video by never stopping to take a breath.

Side note.. Pat Summit was the USA Olympic Women's basketball coach in '84 and she and Cheryl Miller didn't get along, Summit thought Miller was too flashy and Miller said it was personal because USC Women's Basketball team beat Tennessee in the 84 Finals coached by Summit.

I’ve been watching Women’s Basketball since the early 90’s. Kristin Folkl is my all time favorite player. A joy to watch, fundamentally sound, great rebounder and shooter. Unfortunately poor officiating cost Stanford this game.

Oh but what was Sue Bird crying about when UConn got called for a moving pick late in a close game. Something about calling it at that point in a game. That pick against Iowa was way worse than Cathching’s pick here.

Sad how the power 6 ACC, BIG TEN, BIG EAST, BIG 12, PAC-12, and SEC with the money tv deals endorsements ads and what not took over the game the votes from the NCAA. La Tech used to be a powerful program beating teams from those 6 conferences regularly Old Dominion they were in the mix and Western Kentucky I don't know how many people remember them they and La Tech with Old Dominion could play with and beat anybody.
