I have heard the heat warps pans. Does the silicone mats prevent that? Did you buy an extended warranty?
@@cavy95 so far no warping. The pads have no impact on that. Warping could be caused by a sudden change such as washing a hot pan cold water. That is a quick change in temperature is hard to accomplish from room temperature to extreme hot. We are using heavy iron, skillets, and enameled pans. We do have one pan with a steel bottom to it, and it has been used to rapidly boil water. I guess it is possible with a very thin inexpensive pan, but we do not use those since it is easy to burn food.
@@Linus007 ok, Lowe’s here in the US is selling a Samsung floor model for 50% off, and I am thinking about buying it, but I am afraid of repair costs and re-learning how to cook.
I clicked on the link for the adapter but Amazon says it is unavailable.
@@susanschindler222 I am sorry to hear that. I just checked online and saw that it is not available too. There is another one that is available that it is very similar that has a seal. The most important part is make sure that you find the part with a seal. There are others that do not have that seal and the adapter leaks.
@@Linus007 Which alternative did you find?
Burning a glaze on your pan is not seasoning it…

Thank you for explaining hand truck very helpful 😎
@@rjshul glad that it helps. We learned something about it during the video production.
This is great, I wish I had it when I went to the Fourth of July parade today. It is almost 100° in Dallas right now.
@@lindaellis1584 the summer is just beginning for us.
This was oddly satisfying! Looks like a lovely spot to work 🖤
Thank you.
Can you set the temperature right down to the specific degree that you want with this range
No. The stove is like others 1-9 with 10 being super hot.
Great for Menopause Hot flashes! Yes
Definitely so. We will have a video very soon.
Quinn, Contact email please. Thanks. Send via same method.
I'm pretty sure some models have a high temperature detection and turn it off automatically. Due to the silicon pad, that temperature reading will not work if yours have this safety feature
I have not tested this theory on the bare stove. Good point.
Hey, whats the wattage of the cooker? Thanks in advance
3800 watts. Thank you for watching.
One amazing thing about this: Filling from the disposable butane cylinder: It works! I just got one of these and struggled to fill it through the adapter/valve thing I already had. The manual says you can just push the disposable cylinder probe into the refillable cylinder valve... (how many products have claimed this before?!!??) and it worked instantly! I could hear the butane flowing in there, there wasn't any leakage I could see, or enough to care about. I got the 35 gr into a cold cylinder easily. I have been fooling around with things like this for YEARS, basically b/c I buy the tall disposable Butane cans by the case and it's so much cheaper, and also it's sitting around. Frankly by this time a number of camp stoves that work from the disposable tall cylinders (I don't have a name for them. They're all from Korea, can we say "Korean Cylinders"? "Iwatani type"? ) that I don't NEED to go this path any more, but some of the miniature camping type burners are so cute, little Titanium things! And of course they have accumulated. I find there are situations where you want a little stove, but just for a few minutes! So I would say these little machined Butane bottles are a dream product. Now what do I do with all the stuff I already accumulated?
We are pleased that you enjoy this butane tank. I noticed that as well with the refill capability. I found that those butane refills work well with this tank in addition to using an adapter with the butane stove tank that you are talking about.
Great review, however, the amazon link takes me to an older model not the one with a timer. Went to their website and cannot find that one you have there.
It looks like they changed their product to remove the timer. I found a similar product on Amazon that has the timer. as an Amazon affiliate, I earn commissions qualified purchases. Here is the link below: amzn.to/3QmcvWO
Planned to buy but...then i saw the rating on stores Thanks but no
Make sure you are looking at the one with the seal in it. There are others that are identical that do not have the seal and they leak all over the place. We put the exact link in the description. Our adapter works fine.
@@Linus007 seal isnt the issue according for most reviews online (not your site) the common issue cited is bottle getting stuck in saturator

Do they make construction helmets? My hubby would appreciate that, working in the sun all day!
They do not, but that is an excellent idea.

I'm wondering if you have any working knowledge with coleman stoves? more specifically a coleman 2-burner camping stove like a coleman triton. My extended family uses a big 10lb propane tank and after watching this, I'm sure the tank pressure is too much for the stove because the flow knobs don't have very much arc between off and full blast. Can you say what the pressure ranges should be regulated down to or even recommend a specific regulator for this type of stove?
As long as your parents are using the regulator that came with the stove for a propane tank, they should be fine. Those Coleman stoves tend to have a very small amount of movement before the burner is on full blast. This is why we are using a grill boss portable stove. Those stoves have much better set up for simmering food.
Kudos sir for your tutorial.
Thank you for watching.
Great video, great info!
We are glad to help. Thank you for watching the video.
Great idea. Saw the scale, do you measure it out for the coffee machine?
Yes. 17.5 grams for espresso and 15 grams for the moka pot.
You have convinced me to get the Grill Boss. All reviews seem to be very positive. Your chart is very helpful as well.
That is awesome. We love this stove. Thanks for the feedback on the chart too.
Ya got me on the usb lol But where did you get those needlenosed tweezers!? I need those in my arsenal !
I bought the tweezers at Brookstone in 1989. They may be hard to find.
Hello Mister. I love your videos. Because of you Im looking for a thermal typewriter. I live in japan but found hard to find any Typestar. I found some other brands like Brother PICOWORD and CASIO Word Processor HW-500. But i was unable to find out if they are thermal printers. DO you know these one or have any suggestions mister, I would be really thankful.
Hello. The Brother Pictoword typewriter is a thermal typewriter. I am not familiar with the HE-500. Thank you for watching.
Sophie is cute
Thank you very much. She is a sweetie. She turns 15 in July.
Thank you, I am content with my electric corded now after seeing this comparison. 😊
Thank you. I still use both. The electric mower is great because it mulches. The push mower is great because there are less allergies to deal with while mowing.
There is a silicon mat you can buy. You won't be wasting paper as much. Let"s take care of our environment.
Yes. We made a video about them and use them every day: kzread.info/dash/bejne/pXZ-xpejYqu1j9Y.htmlsi=U62UPFR2VWxdQfYO
Great info and video! I do wish i could see how the propane would connect to the butane box type stove I use iwatani stoves
I have more up-to-date videos that cover the differences and pressure and how I got it working with a portable stove.
@Linus007 Hello, and thank you from your new subscriber. I use these iwatani propane stoves that are not dual fuel. is there a way to adapt them to use propane? If so, can you give me some Search terms to find your video I looked through your catalog but couldn't find it
It is amazing how much this technology has helped you both.
Thank you.
will this support QR CODE printing ?
Yes, it does. The esc commands support it.
That is amazing and to think you can have that in your home as well as your business. I know you said it was helping you and now I know why.
We like it in the winter.
Does this work on regular glass top stoves? The only difference is the magnetic quality in an induction stove.
Thank you for asking. No definitely not for use on any stove other than an induction stovetop.
My dad had a hand mower 😀 I like yours now im interested ☺
It is great to use. Thank you for watching.
You raise an important point that is often overlooked. It's crucial to reduce pressure when using adapters from propane to butane appliances. I have a question: Have you tested the outlet pressure from the Grill Boss adapter? Also, what is your recommended “ideal” outlet pressure for the regulator in order to obtain same fire performance from this butane stoves? In your opinion a low-pressure standard regulator that regulates to less than 1 PSI wouldn't be suitable for this purpose?
The pressure for the grill boss adapter is about half of that of butane pressure. In US units that is about 15 psi. That is within the range of the ideal pressure for the butane stove. The low pressure standard regulator would not be appropriate for any stove because its pressure way too low.
Hows the Kobalt holding up?
Thank you for asking. I gave it away a few years ago. One of my kids needed it.
Thanks for showing this. I have had one of these for about as long as you have. I need to get a new blade, though. I think it's 16 inches.
Thank you for watching. This mower and the blade is 21 not 16. Replacements are very unique and may be hard to find.
@@Linus007 Bought a 21" yesterday, and no, it does not fit mine. Measured and it's actually 19".
@@jezmez68 thank you. It is getting harder for me to answer questions about this lawnmower because I gave it away to one of my kids a few years ago. Thank you for the confirmation of the blade size as people will be interested in that information.
terrible bottle. 50 grams or ~1.5oz in reality. 3.85oz is just how much water it can hold.
Thank you for your comment. You are right. They should advertise weight and not volume. The tanks still work well for is when we need a torch or for a backpack picknick.
Do those wheels sticking out in front. Keep you from getting close to things. Like around the house or around trees?
I cannot cut right next to something from the front. Similar to a regular mower. We use a trimmer for the edges.
@@Linus007 Thank you very much.
Huh, I wonder if the 45° angle position could be used to help push heavy boxes up that ramp into a truck tailgate if the bottom wheels were properly chocked?
Definitely possible. That is what I was thinking too.
have you tried the CAMPINGMOON Z59-CB? it claims to have an internal pressure regulator. Edit: looking at your system i think the campingmoon stand with the CB valve, hose or no hose up to you, would be better because it makes for a very good quick disconnect if anything happens. for example the fairly common flame adjuster failures in those popular little BRS micro burners. in your build did you just jam the barb in it and put heat shrink on? man if only that little bottle actually held the claimed 3.85oz.
I did consider it. What I found out is it’s not a true regulator. It is a screw valve. It would work for most people, but it needs more adjustments since cooling of the tank caused by latent heat would change the pressure. Thank you for watching the video, and I hope it was useful to you.
My wife sez "A woman would never have let that happen!"
Very funny. It was my fiancé who left the burner on. Oh well. All is well.
I have a soda stream classic machine, will that adapter work for me as well?
We can only comment on the SodaStream in this video. We have not tested it on any other machine.
I put the conveyor belt roller on the front of mine and I love that thing. Therapeutic. I keep mine at an inch with common Bermuda.
Very good. Interesting addition on your part. In our wet growing season we cut the grass more often so that the amount cut is small. Healthy grass.
