SQUIRREL WHISPERER - I hand feed chipmunks, squirrels and birds! I have squirrels that can catch walnuts too! I also make videos with squirrel sized scenery!
Poor little Chippy - looks like he's been defending his food stores or territory. Hope it wasn't with a predator! Tough little guy is still "chipper" though! Little Red is lingering longer - I think he likes his back rubbed. :D

I’m not sure why he’s missing those little patches. I could be wrong but I don’t think it is from cuts. I pet him all of the time and I never noticed any cuts where those patches are. I did discover today that he does have a new neighbor chipmunk not far from his house. He doesn’t love his new neighbor very much lol! I saw the new neighbor chippy stealing Chippy’s almonds!!😯 It is a good thing Chippy has a free supply of almonds!😂 Those two have been tussling a bit so hopefully he doesn’t get hurt! Chipmunk drama in Chippyland!🤣

@@MelGsBackyardSquirreling Those scars do not look like cat-fang or bird claw marks (with my limited viewing angles on a computer screen). Cat's fang marks, I think, would be in double pairs (left & right / upper and lower jaw). These look more like another chipmunk or small rodent's nips -- or, possibly, self-inflicted by scratching itches??? -- _But I am NO expert and could easily be wrong._ Regardless, he looks like he remains healthy and active and probably "won" the battle -- Yay! Shucks, his little female friends might even find them sexy!!

Yeah I’m not sure if it is from cuts or maybe a skin issue. I haven’t noticed any cuts on him and I pet him a lot. I did notice today that he does have a new neighbor chipmunk though. They don’t get along very well lol!

Gorgeous. I know she has a lot of red but she has the body shape and ears or a grey squirrel. Reds and greys typically don’t coexist in the same areas. Are you sure she is a red?
