My name is Cheyenne, I am a Detribalized Native artist from San Francisco, now living in the gorgeous Forest of Dean in the United Kingdom.
During the pandemic, my mother passed down her wisdom of beading to honor our indigenous heritage and keep this art form alive. We use very small beads called seed beads and weave them into earrings, hatbands, bracelets, and countless other applications.
This has been the most healing craft for me, guiding me through tough times and providing a creative avenue for expression. It takes time and focus, both are too often neglected in this technological age. By dropping into the flow state, you engage your brain and offer space for deep thought.
This art form is for everyone and it is my passion to make beadwork accessible to anyone who’d like to try.

Thanks for the tutorial, I'm doing well so far but would like a tiny explanation for how many beads to go after the last example (15)-- I'm guessing you add 5 till you get to the middle? but a little picture or comment would help! I'm going to pause and count the beads in the photo for now :)

Please could you tell me how to find the large beads you are using. I have a lot of children who love beading and this would be a great way to teach them how to start. please could you help me source them i would be so very grateful.

I loved all the "stuff " you had in your drawers extra stuff, more beads!!!! I swear you can never have enough beads there are so many different shades. I problem with my needle, the bead always stuck at the needle head. Have you heard of speedle Needle? Can we used this needle for this project? Maybe I should use that instead
