  It's not a backing track. It's the original 1967 mono version of the song. I used the same Hammond organ/Leslie/Drawbar Settings etc to acheive the sound and played over it

  I am not surprised to hear that this character was based upon a sailor. Michael Ripper plays a retired sailor in the movie The Reptile and has a similar beard.

  My mum's name is Lesley and she sometimes goes on verbal tangents - though not quite as extreme as these - so every time: *_"WHOA there, Leslie"_* is exclaimed, we both piss ourselves more due to the almost personal nature it's taken on for us! 🤣🤣

  Yes. Get a Neo Instruments Mini Vent II and disable the Leslie emulation on your keybourd. That pedal is simply the best Leslie emulator on the market. I also recommened the Roland V-Combo VR-730 for Hammond Organ sounds. Well worth the investment. There's also the T-Racks Leslie Plug-In by IK Multimedia which is excellent if you're using a DAW.

  hey, not sure if you’re still active... but i am looking into a Nord 6D electro or a Hammond XK-1C but this is exactly what I need to hold me over. Does the ferrofish come with the B3 Organ sound? Like could I simply use it on a MIDI controller or does it play off of your keyboards organ sound? Thanks in advance!

  It recreates the B3 - C3 sound very well and yes it works directly from a MIDI controller

  IK Multimedia Hammond BX3 or VB3 would be a cheaper option. Save up for the Nord 6D.
