  Padme is my favorite character. She's brave, smart, and shows strength in her own feminine way and without overstepping the men around her. 3 episodes were not enough to showcase what she can do.

  Virgin fans: "OMG, the jedi are kidnappers who just want to brainwash kids into being in their cult" Chad fans: Attachment leads to issues, those issues were not being dealt with by the Jedi responsibly. Love without attachment, and acquiescence to the will of the force could have saved the Jedi order, but instead they served a corrupt democracy, and ignored the will of the living force, as well as attempted to merely suppress love and hate, instead of understanding them and taking responsibility for them.

  This part of the novelization left me saddened, and speechless. The book really is good at putting you in all the characters shoes. And the part at end of this part, where it states, “ the Shadow is all you have left.” That part made want to cry and vomit. Just thinking of this nightmare of a situation Anakin is in, still gives me both tears and shudders. Just dang!💔🥲

  This is a great video of Luke and Padme. Mother and Son said the same sentence to Anakin/Vader. I wish they both have bonding. Before Padme died in Revenge of the Sith, she said “there’s good in him” and after that, in Return of the Jedi, Luke said “there is still good in him.” They both said that to Obi-Wan. Like mother Like Son.

  People often criticise George Lucas as being some kind of idiot, but all of these parallels were very thoughtfully placed in these movies at his discretion. The truth is that he is a very intelligent man, and while he may not be the best at writing a screenplay, his world-building is unrivalled.

  It's so sad that he ended up killing her. His grip on her and then she had to give birth meant an early death for her. So sad and unnecessary if he'd just listened to reason.

  That’s the tragic irony to it all, he thought the only way to save her was to go to the dark side and learn these new ways of saving life but little did he know that THAT was the reason she would die, him turning to the dark side. If he would’ve just listened to Padmé and listened to reason, she would’ve been alive and they could’ve lived a happy life together with Luke and Leia. It was actually confirmed that Palpatine was the one who gave Anakin those force visions to scary him into turning to the dark side, which worked. Palpatine planned all of this and it unfortunately all worked in his favor. I actually believe this theory that Palpatine was the one who killed Padmé by taking her life force and giving it to Anakin because in the scene where they are both dying in the hospitals, you can hear both of their heartbeats but then you slowly hear only vaders and somehow palpatine knew Padmé died even tho they were on different planets. There is a video about it by Lore Star called Film Theory: Padmé’s Murder SOLVED!! - Star Wars Episode 3 [Dash Star] It’s so good and makes a lot of sense!
