I love gaming and wanted to create videos revolving around that. My current focus is making The Sims 2 content, but I plan to make gameplay videos on other games as well. I’m new to all of this, so I’ll do my best to improve. For now, stay tuned for more upcoming content! :D

Hi, I hope this isn't a dumb question but I'm super new to modding my sims games. Can I create sub-folders in the Downloads folder to categorise my mods? Let's say, a folder called 'Clothes' for clothes mods, another called 'Hair' for hair mods etc.? Would this be ok or would it 'break' my mods? Thank you!
@@mateeamichinici4707 hey! It’s not dumb at all and it’s a pretty valid question. Yes, you can. You can even create folders within those folders and they would still work. You’re welcome! :)

@@Kayotic2104 I'm sorry for my English :)) When I put the NeighborhoodCamera.txt file into the MyDocuments/EA Games/Sims 2/Cameras folder, unfortunately, it doesn't work. Actually, what I wanted to ask is, when I'm in the game, I can't move the camera left, right, forward, or backward with the mouse. Do I need to make any other adjustments? thank you very much for your time
@@mirayg1879 that’s weird, because without the mod the game works exactly like that lol. this mod is suppose to fix that. Are you sure that you didn’t replace it with the back up file that comes with it? Cause I believe there is one in the zip file along with the mod itself. Also check the mod page again, try to read the instructions and see if you followed it right. You’re welcome, sorry that you’re experiencing some problems. :(

If i download two separate camera mods, don't they contain different information? If, for instance, i override my cas camera txt document with the neighborhood camera mod then i override that with the widescreen cas camera mod, will the neighborhood camera mod still work? Since it has been overridden. This is my main concern regarding camera mods. I have multiple that do different things but I'm yet to install any of them. Idk if I explained well enough
I’m not sure I understand. If you’re asking me why I had to overwrite then it’s because both the default file and the mod share the same name. However, they contain different information. If you’re asking me whether they would conflict each other or not, then no. The camera mods that I have shown in the video won’t interfere with each other because they’re not the same mods. One is for the CAS and the other one is for the neighborhood camera. When you overwrite them, they replace the default cameras. So the default cas camera, gets overwritten by the mod cas camera. Same goes for the other camera mod. You can’t use two cas camera mods at the same time since they require you to overwrite and it will probably conflict with eachother. I hope this answers your questions. If not, can you explain what the issue is? I’d be happy to help.

I just got back to playing The Sims 2 and your videos helped a lot since I didn't know what's the easiest way to download the game. Your videos are quite simple and not long like other tutorials so thank you for them. I like your channel and keep up the good work. I installed all of the mods that you suggested and they are working perfectly. Are there any more mods that you would suggest to someone who didn't use mods a lot? 🌸

As you saw from the video, my downloads file is filled with cc and mods😂 so I’ll probably need go back and check it out again. I’m planning on making another mods video in the future which would include these mods, but for now, I would highly recommend that you go to modsthesims website and browse for yourself cause there are a lot to choose from. When I finish up that video, I’ll come back to your comment and paste the link.😊

i wanted to know if you knew how to install hood checker for the sims 2, your videos are really helpful in setting up my sims 2 game :)
I’ve never heard of hood checker before. However, when I checked it on mods the sims, there are some instructions on the front page that should help you. I’m glad my videos helped you, thank you for the feedback! :D
you don't actually install hoodchecker bc it's a portable program, you just download it from mod the sims, unzip the folder and keep it forever.
where do i add the download folder for the cc and mods? it's different compared to the tutorials
