    Hello! No, you need to find the right key for every song. For example, if you sing this particular key for Song A, it does not mean that you sing the same key for Song B. If you do, that's purely coincidence :) So please find the right key for yourself for every song!

    Totally agree with your analysis. I followed Roxette’s reaction videos for a while and she’s got lots of good pointers and insights, but it got obvious that she is kinda biased and not very open minded about the more “traditional” Asian style of singing. Except for Zhou Shen of course, whom she is obsessed with.

  • @SingingTechniquesINT
    @SingingTechniquesINTАй бұрын

    Thank you for watching and leaving a comment! I think she is kinda 'biased' only cos the western music culture values 'BIG' and showy vocals a lot...and there is not much focus placed in intimacy of voice. I also think that's the reason why Adele got so big, because in this current times, Adele swam against the tides and go with singing that is intimate and sentimental. It doesn't mean that people in Mandarin pop singing are not into big showy voices (look at all the singing competitions, everyone picks songs to scream their heads off). But there is a bigger space for intimate sentiments in the singing.

    This song is a pearl of the French songbook: It is a French-Canadian cyberpunk-rock opera called “Starmania”, written in 1976 by Michel Berger (France) and with lyrics by Luc Plamondon (Canada) and immortalized in the voices of Daniel Balavoine, Diane Dufresne and Gregory Lemarchal. The theme of the song is depression: In the 2021 version, Dimash faithfully and brilliantly presents a sentimental and melancholy interpretation! As the singing decisions follow the original structure of the song, which serves to show the psychological instability of the afflicted character: From the chest voice to the head voice and then to falsetto, the author sought to show a broad need to overcome a moment of despair and the pretense of accepting to reach a higher perspective! Dimash, currently at his concerts, dedicates this song to his friends and acquaintances who have departed this world!
