    what scope and sequence do you use? I am currently using Orton-Gillingham ( Recipe for Reading book) BTW....you are so wonderful!!! I love how organized and knowledgeable you are! Thanks! Julie

    Can I use the sound wall to help a non speaking child by inserting a picture and a sound? Eg a gif of a door opening and the sound of the word open and insert them into a powerpoint or something similar? Thanks for your video as it was an eye opener for me. Thanks,

    I think you can do what you mentioned, but that wouldn't be a sound wall. A sound waall is to help teach phonics patterns. We use them to help map the grapheme (letter/s) to the phoneme (sound). What you described sounds like a great tool to help build vocabulary for a non-speaking child or english language learner, though! :)

    Really good foundation for guided reading, tips and tricks. I hope you continue to create videos. With all these classroom setup vlogs content vlogs are just as or more important for student success.
