    My uncle had that car. It was very comfortable but the W140 had more softer and plush seats. Regardless after the W140 this was the most reliable and comfortable S class you can buy. Absolute masterpiece!

    The 2GR-FE is port injection only. Toyota didn't do any sort of direct injection until they created D-4S, their _twin_ injection strategy combining both port and direct injection. You can even see the plastic fuel rail running along the intake plenum going to the tiny plastic fuel injectors. These clearly are not going to handle the pressure of direct injection. While Toyota did add D-4S on the 2GR-FSE and 2GR-FKS, the second generation Lexus RX did not come with either of these engines, which is clearly the engine in your RX 350. Additionally, fuel injection does not affect how clean the throttle body nearly as much as it affects the intake valves. You may be confusing the throttle body dirtiness with the intake valves

    Why would you disconnect the battery? Take the key out of the ignition, put it in your pocket, don't let others play around with the vehicle while you are working on it. There is nothing that you are going to short out, no reason to disconnect the battery, but lots of reasons not to, including all adaptive learn parameters in the ECU as well as any driver programmable settings such as radio presets.

    I never ended up having to use the oil filter cap wrench because my RX350's oil filter drain cap (the square socket) is so stuck that trying to remove it causes the whole filter housing to loosen. I think the idea was replacement filters had this little plastic tube so you could drain the oil inside the filter housing and then remove it so it's not as messy, but the person I bought the car off did all of their maintenance at the dealership so I guess they use an impact driver on everything

    Ideally yes or else you can’t really physically clean throttle plate itself.

    If you think that was a lot of items removed, it wasn't. He probably did the minimum. Other KZread videos show the whole cowl assembly & wipers being removed from above the throttle body . This is done to gain easier access to the throttle body itself.

    hello i have a 2015 Chevy Cruze Lt 1.4 tubro I have replaced spark plugs and coil pack and negative battery cable. On my dashboard service traction control and stability control on. I noticed when I took new spark plugs out they are soaked in fuel any help would be appreciated ty

  • @rafamotive
    @rafamotive9 ай бұрын

    For the soaked spark plugs, it will be a good idea to replace the valve cover and spark plug gaskets and recheck after a couple thousand kms. As the other lights on the dash, scan the vehicle and try to narrow down to what is causing the codes.
